“I absolutely looooooved this park. So cute and even though it doesn’t look that big, it is. It has a basketball and volleyball court, walkway, playground, and many benches. Some people walking here were not wearing masks. They have a parking lot but is not that big, so not many car fit there. Plan accordingly !!”

“Such a quiet and peaceful park to relax and play basketball, baseball, or walk. Very clean and surprisingly empty throughout the day. There is a children’s playground for those with kids. They also have tables to play dominoes which is very interesting since I have never seen that in any other park before. Great park for anything”

“We’ve really enjoyed working at Thalatta Estate! This 1925 Mediterranean- Revival Estate has become a staple venue for so many of our locals. Their bridal and groom-suites are comfortable and accommodating. The bridal suite in particular has lovely natural light and a view of the property. This venue has so much lawn space! It has a walkway that leads to the edge of the property where you’ll have a beautiful view of the bay; this is where ceremonies most commonly take place, it’s absolutely gorgeous. The reception area doesn’t need much décor since it's outdoors and surrounded by beauty. Portrait sessions are a joy for us as wedding photographers. We definitely recommend Thalatta Estate!”

“The Fairchild Botanical Gardens has always been an amazing place to enjoy with your family. We haven’t been back in months since the Pandemic. We recently wanted to squeeze some outdoor activity that was safe and enjoyable before the school year begins and decided to try it out. I was really impressed with how organized they’ve made it to make sure people do not cross paths with their one way directions and how effective they were in keeping masks on their visitors with signs throughout the garden. Great job to the team there for keeping our community safe, taking responsibility into their own hands, and allowing us all to enjoy the gardens again during these times. We’ll be back again soon!”

The Nixon Smiley building easily accommodated our group of 20 arborists and the meeting room was well appointed with projector and computer system. “Cute little park by the beach on the side of a hill with stairs leading down to some benches and lavender. Beautiful flowers and beach views although walking there is a bit tricky with a steep incline and not much sidewalk. Totally worth the visit. I was told there is a way to reach the actual beach if you go through some bushes down a steep hill and over the train tracks, but I just viewed it from a distance.”

“I love the renovations they have done here. Parking is great, the soccer turf fields are super nice to play on and there’s plenty of seating for parents who want to watch their little ones play.
