“This boat ramp kicks butt, totally secluded with a perfect little ramp to get a small boat or kayak into the lagoon. Had no issues leaving our truck for a while so we could have a good time. Will be coming again.”

“I love sitting down here and watching people fish and boat. I come down and work on my writing here.”

“Awesome beach access and plenty of parking. Bathrooms could use some attention on the cleanliness and smell. The were dozens of sea turtle nests that are staked off. The price for admission is $15 per car and the allows you to come back for 7 days. The only thing I wished they had is some showers. Overall a great experience.”

“Dropped my kayak for the first time here today, the water was beautiful, weather was perfect and the preserve was clean, met some very friendly people. Next time I will bring my fishing pole.... can't wait to go back.....”

“Great beach, plenty of public space (condos have some chairs and umbrellas reserved but there is tons of space in between their areas). The beach is relatively narrow but there's easily enough space for four or five rows of people if it was full (it was not even close to crowded when we were there on a Sunday afternoon in July). Water was perfectly clear and shallow enough to walk out about 50 yards.”

“Hialeah Gardens park is a great family spot. With it's various sports & arts programs, swimming pools, playground, etc., families can't go wrong. My children of different ages enjoy it very much. Also, it is a good place for parents to socialize in a down to earth, family friendly scene. My only negative opinion is that the playground needs to be maintained better. While it is safe to allow toddlers to play, it is becoming rundown.”

“The Kimball center provides tons of information about conservation, education, and park safety. The staff and park rangers are absolutely wonderful. It is deffinetly worth a visit to the Kimball center :)”

“Good campground. Restrooms/showers were clean and well maintained. Quiet and peaceful at night. Nearby park store has ice, firewood, and many other items. Heads up: Google street view images are out of date and inaccurate. Reservation website is much closer to reality. I've included a pic of the campground map provided to me by park staff upon entry. It is accurate and up to date. Spaces can be a little close together but we had great neighbors so it wasn't an issue. Camp host on site. Overall a good value. Looking forward to my next visit.”

“Love this park! We went on the boat ride down the river to Trapper Nelson's. The guide gave us information about the wildlife, plants and trees. The tour guide at Trapper Nelson's was wonderful as she explained the life of the Trapper. A must see!! They also have canoes, horseback riding, camping areas, hiking trails and even cabins to rent. Jonathan Dickinson Park is beautiful! I have been here several times and will continue to return.”

“Quaint and quiet little park. Brought my dog for a walk and there was a maintenance person working incredible hard the entire time, picking up leaves something. Either way, it was immaculate, so whatever concerns had been voiced about the cleanliness of this park have definitely been addressed. It's exactly what you'd expect in a sleepy small town.”
Address: 575 S Beach Rd, Hobe Sound, FL 33455, USA
“Absolutely gorgeous place everyone should visit! BRING WATER SHOES/SNEAKERS! The black sand gets boiling lava hot and is hard to walk in. Flip flops don't do the job. Great place to snorkel in the crystal clear water. The "reef" is pretty minimal but there are a few fish and crabs. Parking is super limited; get there at 9AM.”
Address: 13031 SE 120th St, Ocklawaha, FL 32179, USA
“Awesome place. The fee to get in is a bag of carrots! Not too many places for kids & adults to enjoy for basically free! Only open on Saturdays 11am to 3pm. All horses are old, retired, or abused at one time. They stay on the farm even after they pass away.”

“Such a wonderful campground! Private, clean. The bathrooms are so clean. Very old world Florida. If you have kids, there is a play ground and plenty of paths to ride your bike on or walk along. Very friendly staff. You'd be very happy camping here in a tent or RV.”
