“I really enjoyed this hotel. The location is great, the lobby in inviting, and the rooms after comfortable. However, Joell absolutely stole the show. What a kind and lovely man. He was so sweet and so helpful. My only criticism is that some general maintenance could be done. We had an electrical outlet that would pull out when you unplugged something. The rail in the elevator is lose and needs tightening. A few minor improvements in that area would make it the complete package.”

I think that was around a holiday and the person shouted "show me the money" a couple times..no big deal. It woke me up, but I laughed and went back to sleep. I don't have any pets, but they allow dogs. I don't see any shady people walking around. The front desk is always polite when I need anything. Maintenance does a good job. Rooms a smaller, but nicer than most. I don't know her name, but I needed and ambulance one night and the lady stayed calm and called one, told me to stay put and handled the situation professionally. Turned out to be gall stones. I'd recommend this place if you need a quiet place for an extended stay.”

Opening both front and rear doors of room onto private balcony overlooking marina and long patio overlooking bay let wonderful breezes into room. Quiet and very clean. “Smaller then some of the parks I visited but nice. Clean bathrooms. A 5 mile simple hike around the lake, mostly prairie but some forest and an additional @1mile trail. Nice lake for fishing or kayaking. No swimming. No beach. Also has on site boat rental and small restaurant”
