“Excellent renovation of the playground. Very clean and well laid out it would be great if they could do something with the bandstand as now it is mainly just a place for kids or homeless to hang out. Shame that the concerts they used to hold in the park were forced to stop. That was a great time for the community but the Synagogue across the street has more rights than the rest of the neighborhood. Shame”

“Beautiful...pretty clean..community kids not to out of control..most of the time parents are accompanying the kids...at least one public bathroom remains open & its spotless. Only exception is the swings & slides should have been redesigned under some shady trees bcuz on a hot day it can burn the tiny tots”

“On 8/25/19 had my grandsons 3rd birthday party there. Family and friends went. This was incredible everyone had a great time. The food was good and our hostess Felicia was fantastic. She took care of all our party needs. I am recommending to all our friends if they want to celebrate their childs birthday Launch is the place to go. But must ask for Felicia to be their host.”

“Great place for dogs to get their daily exercise. If you have friendly dogs, they can enjoy anytime of day. If your dog is not so friendly, try coming when it's vacant. All dogs should get their exercise.”

“The family who owns the campground were so, so sweet and helpful. All of their facilities were clean -- bathrooms, showers, sinks -- and the campground was well maintained. It's right on the Delaware so you can tube down from a drop off that's about 10 minutes north and end up right back at the site -- and you can either do this with your private vehicle and tubes/kayaks/whatever or they have Reber River Trips that makes runs.”

“This is a tiny park with a few benches, some trees and shrubs, and a gazebo. Definitely easy to miss. It's not a place you would plan to visit, and there aren't a lot of businesses nearby. It's mainly for residents in the area.”

“Fort Tryon park is really beautiful. I think one of the most underrated Parks in the city and way more beautiful than central park. There is magnificent views of the Hudson River, a few small old houses in the property that makes you wonder what it must have been like in the 30s or earlier. If you want a romantic evening this is the place to go. If you're on a tight budget there plenty of places you picnic and sneak in some beer and/or wine. There's also the option of going to the New Leif restaurant that is also incredible. It's definitely not overwhelmingly pricey by by no means cheap. My lamb chop entree was about $35. There's definitely a little something here for everyone.”

“An excellent place to take your pup anytime of year! Great community of uptown dog owners. There is no water source in the park so you'll have to hike it up with you, or run over to the New Leaf restaurant to refill the bowls.”
