“Their parking lot is the best place in town for your kid’s first ever driving lesson :). ((When there’s no games or practices).”

“Really nice Park! Didn't spend a lot of time there, maybe 2 hours. Picnic tables near parking, looks clean and well kept. Catfish for sure (if you want to throw a line in), need to explore it more, but happy we went!”
Address: 58 Hoag Rd, Cuddebackville, NY 12729, USA
“Such an awesome park and setting. Beautiful and quiet. Plus Bobby is the best grounds keeper that ever was. So warm and hospitable and he cares for the park as if it was his own backyard.”
Address: 110 Watkins Ave, Middletown, NY 10940, USA
“I like this park a lot. It's very open and relaxing and it's just nice to sit on the bleachers and meditate. It would be a cool place to play softball!”
Address: 625 Belmont Ave, West Babylon, NY 11704, USA
“Belmont Lake Park is one of the most picturesque locations on Long Island, if not New York State. I can attempt to describe the post card like scenery but it's best to experience wonders of this location yourself! Whether the beautiful blanketing of a snowfall, the awesome display of an autumn rainbow of leaves, or spring and summer greenery, you won't be disappointed with one of nature's most wonderful gifts! The lake is an enjoyable adventure for the whole family! Accessible by car or public transportation, it's a "must do" for all, especially nature lovers!”
Address: 3500 Ocean Pkwy, Bay Shore, NY 11706, USA
“Great spot. You can walk along the dock and see all the charter fishing boats. Good spot to charter a boat to go bay or ocean fishing.”

“This is a great park with swings and few playgrounds and the baseball field and basketball card even has a unisex restroom. Also very conveniently located would go to this park any sunny day.”

“Some of the best mountain biking on long island. The trails are well maintained and allow for intermediate to advanced bikers to go as easy or hard as they want. The woods are beautiful and wildlife abounds. Make sure you stop several times to enjoy the moment.”
Address: 399 Oakland Valley Rd, Cuddebackville, NY 12729, USA
“Very pleasant campground, beautiful area, really nice by the river. We stayed one night, tent camping. The site was roomy enough, but the neighbors were all partying till late. Granted it was a holiday weekend, but still didn't make it easy to get to sleep early. Main bathroom where the showers are was nice and clean. The bathroom by the tent sites needed some serious updates, but to be fair the toilets, urinals and sinks were very clean. We will be coming back to camp there again .”
Address: 428 Breakneck Rd, Beacon, NY 12508, USA
“One of the best hiking trails near NYC! Make sure you get there early. The breakneck trail is 3 to 4 hours long without a break. Its and amazingly challenging trail that will leave you wanting to go back.”
Address: 1570 NY-301, Carmel Hamlet, NY 10512, USA
“Beautiful & away from the madding crowd- mid August and just over half the campsites were occupied on a Saturday night. Except for the Appalachian trail, most of the hiking here is very lightly utilized even on the weekends”
Address: 1088 Cold Spring Turnpike, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533, USA
“Scenic trail with only a few stone sections. Great view of the beaver habitat. Took away a star because the trail needs More blazes.”
Address: 70 Berkshire Rd, West Babylon, NY 11704, USA
“The play ground is very nice and so is the pool. The only down side is that the pool does have very rough walls and floors. Even if you are an adult I would advise wearing water shoes because of the rough surface.”
Address: Mountain Rd, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520, USA
“I absolutely loved this hike! Its gorgeous at the top and you can see so much from the summit. It's a fairly easy hike but I would *definitely* bring some sturdier shoes and expect to climb up a bunch of rocks. If you want to do a longer hike that is possible too but it's great for moderate hikers and those who have a bit more experience too.”
Address: Garrison, NY 10524, USA
“Beautiful falls!! No crowding and we had the falls to ourselves for about 5 minutes. Also helps that this is a short trip from NYC.”
Address: Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520, USA
“Peaceful stop on the way to Donahue Park on the Hudson. The stream is picturesque and h there's a picnic table to relax at.”
