“Wow exhilarating trail..simply amazing trekking experience..words are never enough to describe the wonderful view once you reach the peak...combining trekking adventure with fall color watch is an awesome experience for us and surely this place has to be one of the best in the east coast for fall colors.”

“We did the bull mountain hike and followed the white trail. It took us about 2 hours to go up and 1 to come down. It was cold and windy, my nose was dripping the whole way. I saw many people hiking with their dogs and friends, and there are a few good overlooks!”

“I stayed here for several days, and no one figured out that I am the one true Big Foot. Would have liked wifi, but the setup is pretty primitive so you get what you get. For free -- 5 stars!”

“Great hike. Start up Break Neck Ridge, follow White until you hit blue (yellow for a shorter loop time), follow the river and stay on red, the ruins are just a little bit past the exit trail to 9D. May have to walk back through the tunnel depending on where you park.”

“Great place to hike (several areas to choose from) including a light mountain hike (you can park near the top if you wish) with a Fire Tower at the top for an amazing view (you can can even see Manhattan on a clear day). There is a small lake for summer swimming... Very kid friendly. The main road flowing through all, provides one of the best biking experiences in New York State (according to a few guides whose names I can't remember). For sure, a worthy stop for any out-doorsy types.”

Address: Breakneck Ridge Trail, Cold Spring, NY 10516, USA
“Breakneck Ridge is the best hiking trail in US if not the world. Medium difficulty but very rewarding with views at rest plateaus. Commanding views just get better the higher you go. Scouts and cadets love it. See mountains in distance with Hudson River in foreground. View of Breakneck on right from West Point.”

“This is a nice park. It has two ice rinks, a big pool, a golf course, a playground, a basketball court, and a picnic area. It is mainly only accessible by car. There are bathrooms available. The pool is Olympic sized and has a 12 foot deep diving area. The pool changing rooms are nice, but somewhat awkward because they are outside.”

“Get there before 9am to avoid the crowds. The rock scramble was intense, but the views are worth it. The sign says it's a 3 hour hike, but you can do it it under 2.”
