“Was raining the day we went hiking . I do not recommend if you do not have the right gear as it does become very slippery. The trail we took was steep and had lots of loose soil and rocks. The surprise lake was shrouded in fog but it was rather eerily pretty to look at. Also make sure you are physically fit to do the hike . Some light weight training and loads of cardio should help. Enjoy and good luck!”

“A decent Park put it needs water fountain. The kids completely love it and right outside of the playground there are two small courts one where you can place mini tennis and the other one where you can play bocce ball.”

“The property and formal gardens were amazing, full of old growth trees. The museum is a bit small, but in a beautiful building. The art is modern and contemporary art, which is not personally to my taste. Highly recommended.”

“Love this beach. Not crowded water to parking lot ratio is pretty good. Its not a endless walk to get to the shore. All though they need to add the mat back on the second path enterence! (Minus a star) skate park is cool. Price is good if you have a Leisure pass other wise watch out!”

“Limited parking. Be sure to get a map. Can be hilly, and at times muddy, but one of the best.”

“A beautiful slice of calm, suburban life, Twin Ponds is the epitome of what I loved most about growing up in the hamlet of Valley Cottage. I never caught many fish there, but it was never about the catch. Hanging at Twin Ponds was more about meeting up with friends and wandering for hours within a half- mile radius than anything else. I miss my family and friends when I think of this place. I think of elementary school bike rides, of Halloweens long past and of frozen winters. I think of people I'd only ever seen and never spoken to, never known. I think of returning from the west. I think of missing myself.”
