“I highly recommend this agency for any insurance policy you may need. Oscar was very helpful with my new policies. He saved me about $200 per month. The insurance company I was previously with was very expensive and the service and follow up was bellow subpar compared to Protec! The savings is just a plus because there is great value in service. Double win!”

“Amanda was able to tend to me quickly and she stayed late to ensure I got everything I needed in that appointment - certainly a breath of fresh air after a long day and coming in for a 5 o’clock appointment. Amanda and Liz are awesome and make this place worth coming to each visit! Doc always knows how to cheer you up with each joke he has on deck. Turns a not-so-fun appointment into an easy and worry-free visit”

“World class instruction from world class professors and Jiu Jitsu practitioners. Easy to understand style of teaching. Big classes with students of all levels and sizes. Clean facilities. I went to lots of other local Jiu Jitsu academies to try them out before coming to Progresso. I signed up after one class here because of everything listed above.”

“WOW! Josh and Dustin were awesome to work with. Super friendly, communicative, and thorough. Their automated system with pictures and descriptions of what services were needed ASAP and in the future was great. Not to mention all their repairs were very reasonable. “I have always had hard times at the dentist. When I went here I expected to have another rough time. However, I did not have any trouble at all. They staff are sweet and caring. They did my cleaning and then I returned for a cavity and crown to be replaced. The best visit with a dentist I have ever had. They were so gentle and work with you on everything. They make sure you are comfortable and check their work. The office is clean and they have a dog that helps patients like me that are nervous when going to the dentist. I highly recommend them for kids and adults. This is now my only dentist and my kids go here now. My husband will soon. 😊”

“I have used alot of different barbers and hair stylists over the many many years. Madi is top gear, one hundo percent authentic and has the ability to cut your hair how you want it cut and or beard. Very few hands can use a straight razor the right way as well. Madi goes above and beyond and offers a great experience and a kickass haircut and a beard treatment/cut or trim. Truly makes you feel at your best and ready to tackle whatever ahead. I can honestly and truthfully say she's the best at her craft.”

“Real People, Real Community! McKinney is “unique by nature.” Community North Baptist Church is unique by design. We are both a typical and an atypical Baptist congregation. We are, in some ways, a paradox. The Bible is taught and preached—typical. We still call Sunday school, Sunday school. We are typical in that we have a fairly traditional worship service with familiar hymns, a choir, a sermon, a children’s sermon, wonderful piano offertories, prayers and Scripture readings. We have covered dish meals. Currently, we do not have a praise team or band or a contemporary service—atypical. We have words to choruses projected on a screen and we have hymnals. We gather at 11 a.m. on Sunday mornings to worship—typical, but no Sunday evening services; we are not a mega-church, nor are services online—atypical. We have Vacation Bible School, Wednesday activities for all ages, retreats and youth activities--typical. We have men deacons—typical—and we have women deacons—pretty atypical Baptist! What makes us unique is not only this paradox of typical and atypical, but also the confluence of freedom with the belief in ‘soul competency,’ that Christians are a ‘priesthood of believers.’ Members are all equals because the ground at the foot of the cross is level; we are sinners saved by the grace and mercy and power of God through the Lord Jesus Christ. We are all one in Christ, as Paul reminds us in his Letter to the Galatians. No one person is considered above another. This sense of Biblical equality forms the basis of our community. We encourage each member to share their grace gifts given by the Holy Spirit. Community North exists to love and serve God and all people, both inside and outside our walls. Our members exercise their gifts by actively participating in ministry whether local, national or international. We support Samaritan Inn, Hope’s Door women’s shelter, Community Food Pantry, various children’s homes, homeless shelters, and missions needs in Africa. Our Loving Hands ladies crochet hats for newborns and items for cancer patients. Our Toy Makers craft beautiful and functional toys for the children at Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas. We have members who support the Southern Baptist Convention as well as those who support the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. We have a democratic, congregational church government. Our deacons are a ministering body, tending to the flock alongside the pastor. We are not governed by a board or by a CEO Pastor. So, if you came through our doors on a typical Sunday morning, you would experience a warm greeting. You would not be judged; you would be welcomed and accepted. You would hear the Good News of the Bible, and you would be invited to join with us to love and serve God and all people. Above all, at Community North we love the Lord and we love each other, warts and all, and we extend grace to members and non-members alike. That’s what makes us Real Community.”

“A great staff of people who care about your well-being. After my initial evaluation I was supervised on how to do the exercises and stretches to get maximum benefits. When my physical therapy came to an end I was happy that I was physically better but sad to leave my new friends.”

“We arrived early (a little after 1:00) and we're told that our room wasn't ready yet. And check in time was at 3:00. They were told that we would be arriving about 1 or 2. Other hotels had our room ready or had another one we could switch to. The room however was very nice and clean, comfortable, and not near the elevator added bonus. Bathroom door lock didn't work. Breakfast was one of the best for hotels we've stayed in. Checkout was easy. Allover good experience”

“Really an excellent environment. I’ve experienced 6 different coaches here and each coach has demonstrated a commitment to challenging and inspiring us towards optimal health. The box (gym) is very friendly to all people and all skill sets. Give it a shot - your body will thank you. Updated: really solid programming and it’s the right balance of challenge and support.”
