“I was a bit frustrated when I first showed up. I've been a Red Cross donor since my teen years and was used to being able to find a RC walk in in center, not in TX. I ended up at the Carter Bloodcare center in Mesquite. I was reluctant as I had up until then never heard of them. After making another attempt to find a Red Cross center and failing I returned to Carter. I am glad did! Right from the receptionist through the whole screening process to my donation, an absolutely enjoyable experience. Every person there was a pleasure to talk to. At no point did I feel like a number, the whole experience and interaction will keep me returning to them.”

“They seem pretty organized and the eye exam is quick. We only waited about 10 minutes to do the initial exam and then another 10 to see the doctor. The doctor was very professional and provided great suggestions for my elderly grandmother. She ordered 2 sets of glasses and it cost a little over $200 including the exam without insurance. The glasses were ready for pick up within a week. I was not happy with the pick up process, however because none of the 3 associates in the clinic acknowledged my presence until I had to speak up.”

“I recently got into a car accident and came in for back pain. The doctor is very knowledgeable and has always been able to answer/address all my questions and concerns. The lady (Daniela) who greets me every visit also schedules my appointments and seems to be very organized. She has my paperwork ready to sign each visit and is always reminding me and making sure I come to my appointments. I've got a lot going on and it's nice to have someone keeping me accountable for my therapy. The ladies that normally work with me on my therapy (Irma, Yulissa, and Luly) are so sweet. Irma is always on top of it! When I come in she always asks how I feel and goes over my treatment and explains it all to me. I always forget to count my reps and they already know and count for me! (Even though I try to remember, I always forget.) Even though I have a busy schedule I really enjoy coming to see them. I feel like part of the family, we talk about our days and just other things we've been up to and not just getting me my treatment and leaving. If I'm ever needing treatment again I plan on coming here.”

“I had shared with Tom that my son had hurt his leg running long distances and even after seeing the trainer at school and a visit to care now that nothing seemed to be helping. Tom did an assessment on my son and it was very thorough, he suggested exercises to do. My son has completed those exercises daily for the last week and a half and he is back to running short distances now. He says he’s feeling really good and is continuing with the exercises provided by Tom. Without Tom I don’t think we would have a runner in our family. I would recommend and trust Tom with any injury that comes up.”
