“I have lived in Winston Place for 2 years with my family. The property manager, Kim Frost is an excellent person and she is there to address and solve any problems for the tenants. I should also mention the maintenance guy, Truff who is very fast at solving problems. The grounds are also well maintained and I would say this place is very suitable for families and the neighbors are also decent. We never had any issues with loud music or gunshot (which is very common in Newport News) and we always felt safe there. My daughter enjoyed the playground and the nearby parks. This apartment complex probably offers the best price for townhouses in Newport News and close to everything. I will definitely recommend small families to stay at this Winston Place.”

We chose Meridian Parkside because it's convenient to great restaurants and a beautiful park within walking distance. We love our apartment and our building is very quite. “I have lived at St James Terrace almost 6 months now and I am very pleased. The neighbors have all been pleasant, with the exception of one very yappy dog, but honestly there's nothing you can do about that. When I first saw these apartments advertised online, I thought there is absolutely no way they could be any good at that price. But they are actually quite nice. The moulding and trim is especially nice! I love it! The floors are beautiful. Everything is well maintained. There really is not much noise, and as a night shift worker, that is very important to me! The beach is not huge, but it is really nice to be able to go down to the beach any time. I love going to collect shells. The laundry facilities are always clean and well-maintained. Really the only complaint I have is the parking situation. On the weekends when I get home from work there is virtually nowhere to park on either street or lot, and when you are that tired, it can be really exhausting trying to find a place to park and walk home. Other than that, I absolutely love my apartment and the view I have. And it's such an amazing area rich in history!”

“Our furnace decided to go out on New Year’s day (Wednesday) so I called Chris Plumbing Services and they were here first thing Thursday morning my tech was great in explaining to me what was going to happen how much everything was going to cost and he expedited my issues so I wouldn’t have to go without heat for a whole weekend. The tech that came out to install the furnace was at my house by 10 AM and had the furnace completely installed by 2 PM I now have heat and I could not be more appreciative.
