Frightland

Address: 309 Port Penn Rd, Middletown, DE 19709, USA

Amusement park

“Went my 1st time ever this October 2018 with my son and our friends. We had an awesome time! I love scary and this place is off the hook fun!!! Worth getting the all access VIP Pass, unless you don't mind standing in line for hours- which could be fun too if you're on a date. Got poked in my back and sides relentlessly in the Attic and it wasn't a human that touched me. I swung my hand behind me to stop the actor/person from poking me non-stop and no one was there, but the poking continued! Yes, I was the last person in our little group of 6 going through the darkened hallways of nothingness. The funny part is... I didn't know that Frightland was truly haunted until after I told my group what happened. Will I go back- ABSOLUTELY! I'm a paranormal investigator and I now want to know more about their history. Hoping one day to investigate this place during off season.”

North Arundel Aquatic Center

Address: 7888 Crain Hwy S, Glen Burnie, MD 21061, USA

Amusement park Health School

“Really nice indoor facility with reasonable prices even if you do not belong to the association. The water park area is big enough that the smaller children won't get bored. There are lanes marked off just for swimming. There are showers and a locker room to hold your things. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are different lessons being given and it is nice to see how engaged the instructors are with the children.”

Springs Aquatic Center

Address: 9400 N Congress Ave, Kansas City, MO 64153, USA

Amusement park

“Excellent place to take your kids during the summer. Very well priced, smaller than oceans of fun but much cleaner. Slides, a lazy river, toddler area and a big pool with diving boards. My kids love it here and it’s small enough that parents can find a place to lay and watch the kids but also big enough that the kids don’t get bored.”

Splash Park @ McCoy Park

Address: 24 Highway &, N Delaware St, Independence, MO 64050, USA

Amusement park

“The park is great! Huge open spaces. Lots of trees. Nice play equipment (3 different playgrounds) and splash area. The city does a great job keeping this place pretty clean. The people who come to the park are a different story. Dirty. Trashy. Filthy. We can't have anything nice in Independence. These people are just extremely lazy! That being said... Come check this park out! Just keep on eye out on your children at all times. Use common sense and have a fun afternoon splashing and playing. Don't forget to stop by Hi-Boy (up the street) for lunch! Best burgers and shakes in Independence! ????????????”

Sky Zone Schererville

Address: 1035 Eagle Ridge Dr, Schererville, IN 46375, USA

Amusement park

“Debated about going to sky zone for a long time during toddler time, until we finally decided of going and wish we had gone there sooner!!! Kids had a blast , totally got all that morning energy out of them! Place was spotless, very well kept. We went for an hour during their toddler time , it’s nice how they have age appropriate options for different level of ages. I will definitely take my kids back. They are also not just for kids, saw a group of adults working out! Yes! How fun is that?? Working out on a trampoline??? So cool!!!”

Launch Trampoline Park

Address: 13348 Franklin Farm Rd, Herndon, VA 20171, USA

Amusement park

“Wonderful, true 5-star experience! Clean (and I’m picky with cleanliness and honestly was amazed at how clean the facility as a whole was), well laid out (especially while attempting to keep tabs on a bunch of little kids), organized, and SO friendly! The birthday party experience was also top-notch. They party “planner” given with the party package makes the party flow seemlessly with little to no stress on the parents. I honestly couldn’t of asked for a better experience.”

Rainbow Falls Waterpark

Address: 200 Rev Morrison Blvd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007, USA

Amusement park

“We were visiting from out of town and our Son in Law worked here in high school and recommended it to us for our 3 year grandson. We were shocked when we showed up at the high price for out of area residents. The facility is well maintained, the guards were very attentive and offered good support and assistance. The zero entry area and whirlpool were a lot of fun. The play area was a little run down and many of the facets didn't work very well to fill the buckets or water guns. My grandson loved the small pool even though the water temperate was about 10 degrees colder than the big pool. The lazy river was a lot of fun with some unique features. The lounges are comfortable as one of my daughters spend most of her time sunbathing and was comfortable.”

Splash Cove

Address: 5800 King Ave, Shawnee, KS 66203, USA

Amusement park

“If you have babies through elementary aged children, this is a great place to hang out for several hours to avoid the heat. Zero entry pools with handicap accessibility allow even infants to feel like big kids. My daughter has been obsessed with the wave pool this summer and her siblings enjoy the water slide. The only area that is deeper than 2-3 feet is one pool behind the water playground. My independent swimmers spent lots of time there perfecting their handstands, but it doesn’t allow for actual extended swimming. If you have a budding competitive swimmer seeking to improve endurance they would be better served elsewhere, but for water play and hanging out this pool is fantastic.”

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor

Address: 26101 Magic Mountain Pkwy, Valencia, CA 91355, USA

Amusement park

“I took my adult son here. Being our first time, it was a lot of fun, but you have to get here early to beat the lines if you want to go on more than 2 slides in a 5 hour period. The flash pass option didn't work when we came. My criticisms are:Waited 2 hours for Tornado just to get a tube to wait another hour to actually ride. We left the line because we were tired of waiting, so we never got to go on it.They closed the lazy river midday and it hadn't reopened by the time we left. They had also closed the wave pool for whatever reason.”

Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm and Fall Fest

Address: 13341 W 151st St, Homer Glen, IL 60491, USA

Campground Amusement park Park Lodging

“I went today with my two daughters ages 4 and 2 and we had a really nice time. The girls were so excited and they equally enjoyed all of the rides and petting zoo etc. our favorite was the flying frog ride and the corn box which is like a barn filled knee high with corn kernels. I was glad we went on a Wednesday when it’s $10 to get in. They had a handful of rides that was age appropriate for all ages. I was able to get on 5 rides with them. I would definitely go back next year.... Oh and the Apple cider donuts were delicious. I suggest you get the half dozen for $10 because you’ll want some more later on”

Escapade Games - Escape Rooms

Address: 624 N Harbor Blvd, Fullerton, CA 92832, USA

Amusement park

“I am an escape room fanatic, I've done rooms in multiple states. This room is one of, if not THE best room I've done. They do a remarkable job. Tons of puzzles and by FAR the scariest escape room I've ever done. Big props.”

Mickey's House and Meet Mickey

Address: 1313 Disneyland Dr, Anaheim, CA 92802, USA

Amusement park

“My little boy got to see Mickey in person for the first time today. It was awesome”

Six Flags Magic Mountain

Address: 26101 Magic Mountain Pkwy, Valencia, CA 91355, USA

Amusement park

“We had a great time here on a Saturday visit. The theme for the holidays was impressive and the entertainment surprised us with great quality. The coasters were fun to ride and in good condition. A few closures here and there, but still a great day. The Flash Pass is worth every penny. We got in 14 coasters without ever feeling rushed or waiting more than 5 minutes. We could have easily done 20+ if that was our goal. Overall a great experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a theme park experience heavy on thrills.”

Volcano Island Waterpark

Address: 20015 Volcano Island Dr, Sterling, VA 20165, USA

Amusement park

“We were looking for a water park to enjoy on labor day. The one we first went to was at capacity so we came here instead. There are 2 big water slides, a fun water play park with a huge splash bucket, a splash park and a nice sized swim area. Our kids had a lot of fun (1st and 7th grade) there was enough to keep them happy for 3 or 4 hours. We had some lunch there which was satisfactory, not too much ice cream choices though (maybe being the end of the season). Pricing was very reasonable and all in all a fun day out”

Go Ape Zip Line & Treetop Adventure - Swope Park

Address: 7331 Oakwood Dr, Kansas City, MO 64132, USA

Amusement park

“This is a fun course! Easy and challenging obstacles are mixed well throughout the course. Instruction on safety and how to use your harness was efficient and clear. This course was maybe not the best of its type that I've been to, but was definitely a great use of 2-3 hours. The price is reasonable. Website says to bring change for parking but we found it wasn't needed. I would do this again without hesitation.”

Spray Park

Address: Kansas City, KS 66106, USA

Amusement park

“Great place to take kids to cool down, there's restrooms near by, and parking. The downsides, no area to sit that has SHADE. No water fountain to get a drink from that I saw, and no regular play ground right next to it, just a skate park. It's also rather small, so it's crowded with 10 kids.”

Gold Rusher

Address: 26101 Magic Mountain Pkwy, Valencia, CA 91355, USA

Amusement park

“Being the first coaster in this park, I enjoyed it. If you're looking for a ride, start with this one. You'll get used to its speed, since it's like driving in a freeway.”

Splash Landing

Address: 3570 Hamilton Blvd, Allentown, PA 18103, USA

Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom

Address: 3830 Dorney Park Rd, Allentown, PA 18104, USA

Amusement park

“This park is extremely underrated. The atmosphere was very welcoming and felt very open. The liens were practically nonexistent, and the food was great. The coaster lineup is decent, but their top three is fantastic. The park does not get enough attention in my opinion, and it is a very nice place. I will probably revisit when they get a new addition.”

Waterworks Waterpark

Address: 5301 Dale Blvd, Woodbridge, VA 22193, USA

Amusement park

“This was such a great place to take the kids. The walkways and water areas were clean. My 4 and 7 year old enjoyed themselves very much. There were plenty of shaded areas to sit and lots of lounge chairs in the sun too. They had some lockers to put away belongings. We will be visiting again soon.”

Gillian's Wonderland Pier

Address: 601 Boardwalk, Ocean City, NJ 08226, USA

Amusement park

“Great atmosphere. Hard to beat a beautiful night on the boardwalk with a nice ocean breeze. Nice collection of rides. Great place for young kids, lines are never too long. Ride tickets are $1 a ticket (small discount available if you spend a significant amount of money). You can go through money in a hurry if your children like to ride. I've heard rumors they offer half price ticket days in the off-season. If you are ambitious and feel like driving there or know a local, you can load up on half price tickets and use them in the summer. The tickets never expire.”

Cricket Amusements

Bensenville Water Park & Splash Pad

Address: 1100 W Wood St, Bensenville, IL 60106, USA

Amusement park

“Loved getting in for half price to swim from 5-7 PM! Ended up only costing $6 per adult and $4 per youth as non-residents. Not sure if this deal is offered every weekday evening or not so call to double check. Made for a great Thursday evening out!”

White Water Canyon Water Park

Address: 6510, 8221 W 171st St, Tinley Park, IL 60477, USA

Amusement park

“It's perfect for small children. I have two girls ages 7 and 1. We usually go to Deep River Water Park but the drive is long and it's a lot for me to handle alone. This water park is perfect for younger children. It's small yet exciting! And it's way cheaper! Thanks for a good time!”
