“Stayed here for two weeks!! Beautiful park- a short walk to the lake - huge property with lots of room to wander. A nice young lady checked us in and luckily we did not encounter the issues some of the other reviews encountered. I’m guessing that the day we checked in the difficult lady had the day off? Anyhow we very much enjoyed our visit! Perhaps if anyone who manages the park reads the reviews that will talk to the park employees about customer service?”

“We had a layover there. Su and Chris met us at the gate as we pulled in . We had options of large separate pens or 1 even larger pen, which we chose. It was great for the horses to have room to run around after hauling. Safe and clean and they were so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Will definitely stay there again.”

“This is an interesting RV park. Sites are grass with gravel drives. It is kid and dog friendly. There are possibly long term campers here but this is generally well maintained. I would do an overnight here again.”

There is a little store where there is candy, soda, live bait, toys, some food and tools. The staff there is wonderful and so kind to all. It also has a fun park for the kids. Also they have rentable gulf carts to drive around in. Great place really recomend!”

We liked the sites because they were spaced out with natural vegetation and trees providing a sense of privacy around each site. The fire pits were clean upon arrival and we noticed the staff actually sweeps out the landing pad area before each guest arrives. A real sense of hospitality welcomed us to this campground. We loved watching the birds each day - especially the pea hens making their rounds of inspection each morning! We'll be back!”

“The Rincon mountains are one of the most beautiful places around Tucson. Plan you trip intelligently. Ask the rangers for reports on the various seasonal water springs. Plan your trip during a time when water is likely (after recent rain/snowmelt) or plan to carry all of your own water. This place is remote, it's great! The campgrounds provide bear lockers and even toilets. For how remote this is, I respect the work of the rangers who maintain the campgrounds. Pack it out, and keep these mountains pristine.”

“So we head to San Jose and we could not find any vacancy to stay anywhere within 2hour distance in that area. We ended up staying in parking lots that were very loud and so on the way back to Reno found this RV park with most amenities just west of Sacramento on the I-80. The parks was a happy find for us because it is very user friendly. Along with the usually park features it also has food truck, movie rentals, small store, fishing, swimming pool covered for all year swimming, and recreation for the kids. It is definitely a place you can come and relax. They also include free wifi for those that prefer to stay snuggled in their rig. I would highly recommend this spot as a must stay destination.”

“Great campground well shaded I had a water view site. The owner is a really neat lady. I have never been any where I haven’t had to fill out a bunch of paperwork before getting settled in. I am disabled and she came to my site. Very quiet My only complaint is with the power company who shut it down one night to do some work.”

“Small park. Was very quiet and relaxing parked next to the pond. Decent sized back in space. A good patch of green grass between each lot. Newer picnic table and fire pit had a built in grilling rack. Always a positive. We were there in the off season so pool was closed. I'm sure it's much busier in the summer. We will visit again in the summer to check out the massive pool.”
