“Stopped here to rest our heads for the night on our way back to Erie, PA from Acadia National Park in Maine. Wow, what a nice surprise! We picked this campground because it was right off of Interstate 90, had hook ups and was on the Mohawk River. The owner was very welcoming to us upon our arrival. Be sure to bring cash or check! Scenic campground was spacious, well-groomed and tree-covered. Very quiet after dark. You do hear the occasional train, but not a huge deal. Enjoyed a stand up paddle board (SUP) ride on the Mohawk River. Nice docks located within the campground. Bathrooms were clean and dump station was conveniently located and a snap to use. Firewood for sale through the campground. The morning we left we stopped by The Hungry Chicken Country Store for coffee and amazing breakfast sandwiches. The store was darling and the employees were very friendly. We parked our truck and camper right across the street at the Rotterdam Kiwanis Park. This looked like a great place to access the Mohawk Hudson Bikeway. Overall, happy we selected this campground and will be back if travelling to and from the east coast again.”

“This community is a quiet place. Many helpful services for the people that live in it. Yes a couple documentaries have been made about the community which has drawn extra attention to it. The grounds are well kept. It is truly a adult only community. You do not find people just hanging out that do not live in the park. As some of these reviews state: "people have to live some place". Again I will say grounds are well kept and it is a quiet place with little outside traffic.”

“Stopped in with my wife since we were in the area. We each selected 4 different wines for our tasting, and the employee was very informative while we sipped. The prices were also very reasonable. I was impressed with the quality of the red wines. The Bordeaux and the Merlot Reserve were exactly what you would want out of each of those flavors. The Bordeaux would pair perfectly with a juicy steak, it was earthy and rich. The Merlot reserve was deeply fruity and a fantastic pour. Give them a shot if you’re nearby, you’ll find something worth taking home!”

“This is my second time staying here! What I love about it: location to beach is awesome! Golf carting to shops & restaurants. The privacy & private pool! Large space! “This place is just what I was looking for. The first time I stayed here I wasn't sure what to expect but it exceeded all of my expectations. I felt safe, secure, and was such a great value. Nice easy check-in and great communication from the host. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were clean and smelled like they just came out of the wash. Street parking was a little tricky BUT there is a lot very close (maybe a 1 minute walk) The bathrooms were very clean, I didn't have an opportunity to shower but each floor had two bathrooms and two showers so there was never an issue of me waiting to use the rest room. Whenever I need a place to stay in the Bronx this is my top choice for sure. Thank you again for a great stay!”

“We LOVED our stay at the Cabin on Main Street. As coaches/recruiters we're on the move A LOT so when possible we try and stay out of hotels. We showed up to our event and bragged about the town we were staying in, the charm of the cabin and how wonderful everyone we met was. At the end of a long day, we didn't have to worry about a thing... everything was in walking distance and the cabin provided the essentials. Big thanks to Liz and Travis for their hospitality - we'll be back!”

“This clinic is great! The ladies that helped me out were super friendly. They let me borrow a small cage/carrier for my 3 puppies (haven’t bought them leashes yet) and even helped me carry them to my car. Being that this is my first time with puppies, they answered all my questions. They were knowledgeable and gave me enough information to put me at ease. Thank you staff! Oh as super clean facility too!”

“First off...let me say that the only reason that I'm giving them the 5 stars is for the simple fact that when I first met my wife, that's the hotel we got drunk and spent the night together at. Well we went there the other night and the wasn't any toilet paper. The soda machine took my money without giving me my drinks. They don't take credit or debit cards. The room and bathroom was nasty and there was blood on what was supposed to be clean towels.”

“I've lived here 4 years, i pay my lot rent on time, i keep my yard clean, i follow the rules. Never had any problems with anyone, I'm next to the water, i fish & swim & enjoy my place. Neighbors are respectable also we look out for each other. I have noticed improvements & I'm glad to see the older homes being taken out & new homes coming in! That only brings the value of my home up. The condescending comments of management seems to be more personal then substantial. Keep up the good work managment & maintenance.”

“RV Villas on Lake Lavon is locally family owned RV Park. I had the honors being one of the first residence staying at RV Villas really miss not being there. With new job had to move away. The Craftmanship went into this RV Park is something you never seen before, trust me its first class. Each RV spot has painted six foot painted wood and power coated iron ornament fence. front entry is iron ornament well crafted first class door that you can lock by key. They provide you with wireless door bell. Storage building 4x5x6 with large door to lock. Irrigation system for grass and oak tree they had installed. Out front every resident has mail box with different animated covers. I was getting UPS deliveries they knew my address by number on front gate. The lawn maintenance is provided by the owners. I have to add their enclosed green belt fenced in made by Iron ornament & wood fence. Great place to meet and greet new neighbors when walking your pets.”
