“Pricier than other campgrounds in the area but great fun for the family. They have a very cute shop with everything you need, are minutes from town, and have nice full-hookup spots. Amenities include a bouncy pillow, swimming pond with giant floating slides, bikes/tricycles for rent, playground, giant chess, and more. Plus, the train for the amusement park comes through in the summer to pick people up to go - there's also a great walking path straight to the amusement park gates!”

“When another hotel 30 minutes down the road was extremely rude, I called this hotel and the gentleman I believe he is the owner or manager picked up and was so pleasant! Even though we only stayed a few hours I was happy with the service that was provided! If I’m ever in the area again I definitely will stay here again!”

“Very nice park. They are constantly upgrading the infrastructure and the appearance of the park. I've talked to some of the administration and they are friendly and professional. I have recommended it to others. I feel compelled to provide an update to my previous posting so as to not mislead anybody. It appears that in the last month or so, the appearance of the park has gone down hill. I see broken down vehicles in a number of places. One looks as though it caught fire right where it is. Another area has two or three vehicles broken down, expired tags, and flat tires. On the other side of the park there is a crunched up vehicle sitting behind a mo old home. Back to the other side is a large pile of debris in an pty space and back toward the front is a large oil stain on the asphalt. Now I see truck tool boxes on wooden spools, old sofas on the patios, and discarded furniture in front of some of the trailers. For the last eighteen months prior to this, this park took pride in the appearance. This does not seem to be the case now. I do so apologize if I mislead anybody before. Thank you.”

“Our stay for Christmas week was all we hoped it would be and more. The owners have done an amazing job with the old farm house. The attention to detail, and there are many details, is amazing. The home sits on the East River with a beautiful dock and plenty of opportunity to enjoy amazing sunrises. The kitchen is well equipped and the house had plenty of room and was beautifully decorated. The only suggestion I would make would be more comfortable furniture in the living room. If you want to watch TV at night, or pile up in a cozy place and read a book, the current furniture is a little uncomfortable, but beyond that there is plenty of outside space with nice outdoor furniture and great views.”

“This motel is the best I've ever stayed at. The staff was very friendly and carried a high sense of pride in their property. It was very well taken care of, the owner greeted us and showed us our rooms before we even made it to the lobby, making the check-in process a breeze! The reason I always come back here is that the family who own this Motel are hard working and honest. “This place is awesome. Usually these smaller business, "mom and pop" motels are overpriced, super uptight, and even downright rude in my experience. Not only is this place one of the most affordable spots around, it does not lack in other areas to make up for it. At least not if can be helped. I had one issue with my stay. The A/C in my room was out, so it had been temporarily replaced with a portable air conditioner. It was pretty warm the first day or so, but I was able to adjust the A/C to fix the issue and it was all good after that! I can't review badly for the A/C when $500 was spent on a portable one in place in the meantime until it was fixed! The owner is understanding and seems to be all about good business, the location is perfect (right next to a gas station and 50 ft from the freeway [w/out noise]), and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. 10/10 will stay again!”

“Wow, what a great store, especially for a small town. You can get whatever you need, literally. Lots of fishing supplies, camping, and whatever you are looking for, I’m sure you will find it here. They even have a great little cafe, with killer food. Prices are all reasonable as well. The staff are all very nice and helpful. My new go to store here, while visiting horseshoe bend. How did I never go in before, but I’m glad I did today. Killer food too, thanks guys. 2 BBQ beef sliders, with fries… $7.99. It was jammin, homemade, and I ate it as all! See you soon guys.”

“Very cute small property. Room however was super spacious and clean! The staff was available via text which is super convenient. Room came with many amenities such as a full size fridge, plates and silverware which definitely came in handy! The only thing missing was a full length mirror…..Pool was beautiful and clean. Location is super close to beach, bars and restaurants! Would definitely stay again! 🤩”
