“Perfectly pleasant other than construction crews early morning noise in end units 47-51(upstairs) and 14-18(downstairs) from where they store giant spools of cable and trucks on the end facing the pool. After 7am they hammer and have a lot to say at full voices with diesel trucks starting up, stopping, starting up, beeping backup, left running until 9am so don't expect to sleep in on the end units. If you walk across the street to the water's edge, turn left and you can walk the beach for a mile to Meudon Beach picking up beautiful shells&rocks, and discover interesting sea life!”

Dr. Suzanne is the chiropractor and she's incredibly gentle and takes her time with her adjustments. The atmosphere and aura of the office is also nice, quiet and clean. I was going in for weekly appointments and now it is every two weeks. My body feels great and the cost is affordable compared to my previous chiropractor. I highly recommend!”

“I did not get a good room because there was no carpet and the floors were dirty with hair all over. There is a Burger King next door that you can walk to. It is not located on a busy street and there are places to shop nearby. There was hot water on the first of three nights I stayed there, but no diverter on the shower. Bring slippers and a broom, if your room has a hardwood floor. The couch was the most comfortable chair. Feel free to move the desk to face the TV and use the ironing board as an extra table to place items on. The heater worked well at a maximum of 90 degrees. It was nice to have a full-length mirror in the room. Unfortunately, there are no elevators if you didn't pack light. If you are able to bring a DVD player, the button to switch to HDMI 2 is in the back of the TV and not on the remote.”

The staff were very accommodating from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Upon arrival, they immediately greeted us and offered to take our luggage inside the hotel. Check in was smooth, staff was very polite and made us feel welcome. Housekeeping left our rooms spotless each day, and refilled our toiletries when they were getting low. They were very considerate and did not bang on our door and yell, but rather politely knocked and waited for us to answer. Another thing I loved about this hotel was the low amount of traffic noise; I was surprised how quiet it was at night, which made falling and staying asleep a dream. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable and cozy. I appreciated how cold the room can get, so if you like your room to be chilly while you’re sleeping, you won’t be disappointed! Upon checkout, they offered to set up taxi transpiration to the airport, which is incredibly generous. Overall a great stay, I will definitely book this hotel again next time I’m in NYC! “Can't say enough about how good this hotel is. The location is great. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Be aware that busses full of students and church groups sometimes stay here, so the pool may be a little busy and noisy. But the staff handles them like a champ. The gym is small but it has the necessary, regular equipment to get a decent workout. The common areas are maintained cleaned. The rooms are quiet. The breakfast was usually well stocked with the regular items (eggs, ham-egg-cheese sandwiches, bagels, cereal, milk, etc). The free ice cream in the afternoon really makes a difference. It is a little detail, but it really wins over the little ones in the group.”

“This place was hit hard by Hurricane Harvey as well as the buildings around the area. Much work haswent into rebuilding. New ceilings and floors were recently installed. The landscaping of the immediate surrounding area is becoming very beautiful, so I imagine the motel will rival it's neighbors when everything is finished. Can't wait to see how it turns out! Hope they keep the swimming pool...”
