“Amazing Place. Fantastic place to take your kids. I able to entertain kids from 2 till 12 I would imagine. Or two-year-old love seeing all the science experiments and playing in the mud and nature section in the back. They have different sections geared for different ages. I can see myself coming back more almost every day so that they can explore new area. Highly recommended to get the membership. It's easy to come more than twice to make up the cost.”

“Very eclectic, unique museum. It was part architecture, part medical oddities, part art museum, part homage to medicine, with a smattering of history. I want to comment how nice and considerate the young lady was who took our money at the door. She answered all our questions and made us feel welcome.”

“Slightly off the beaten path are the so-called Capitol Ruins, a collection of literally chock-a-block stacks of stonework discarded from a renovation of the Capitol in 1958 - most of it originating from when the Capitol was first built more than 200 years ago. It has the look and feel of a strange cross between a cemetery and the end of super-sized game of Jenga. Now half overgrown by the encroaching forest, moss and lichen, these pieces of stone appear content to rejoin their more earthbound brethren after their brief hiatus from the natural-order-of-things at the whim of some know-it-all, opposable-thumbed, short-timing bio-organisms.”

“An amazing site to visit whether you’re from afar or right here in the archdiocese. There’s a very moving permanent exhibition detailing the Saint’s life and a blood relic in a small shrine. They also hold Masses on a frequent basis.”

“I come here every year for my now 5 year old daughter's birthday. Even though we've moved far, it was still worth the trip. I get just as excited as my child to come and play pretend in this huge museum. We can easily spend 5 hours here because the exhibits are quite large and there is something to play with on every corner. There is usually an interactive story time, arts and crafts, and a special feature exhibit. This visits' special exhibit was Thomas and Friends. She never wants to leave no matter how much time we spend here.”

“Really cool little museum. My wife and I brought our kids for something to do on a hot day, and were really impressed. Great variety of things to look at and an impressive amount of history. They even had a program for kids that included a scavenger hunt around the museum, which really forced us to take a careful look around. Very friendly and helpful staff.”
