“Strange, delightful, spooky, humbling. Loved the tale of the rich history. Tours start on the hour for $10 ($5 students with ID)...come a little early and you’ll get to look around at a bunch of human brains. There’s stories about each human. That was the stuff that kinda “hits home” and gave me creepy feels. Loved the medicine bottles! Neat neat neat.”

“Howdy ya'll. I'm a newbie in the RV Universe but I do know a nice place when I see/experience one. I bought a new bumper pull in May 2021. So including the RV park where I purchased my rig just outside of Austin, this is my second RV Park experience and first review/post regarding such. I have to say that the bar has been set very high. From the staff to the overall cleanliness and praise...you know who...lots of shade trees, to the scope of amenities...this place was a great stay. It is nestled in a very nice area of Arlington with everything and all the stores that we've become accustomed to within a few short miles. The prices were on the higher end but that was made much more palatable by a generous discount for us disabled vets. Thank you for that. All in all it was a short and sweet 5 day stay that left a smile on my face. I would definitely stay there again. MTL”

“The Florence Depot is a wonderful resource for learning about the history of North Omaha. Built in 1880, it saw the rise of Florence and its annexing into Omaha, and a move to its current role in 1969. Filled with cool artifacts from the old days, its a unique tool for the whole city.”

“This is an especially great place to visit during one of the many events they hold during the year. We've gone for the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Christmas, etc. and have always enjoyed the history and the access to nature. I recommend getting a family membership for the year and trying to get to as many of the special events as possible.”

“So the nature center and planetarium--whatever. It has a drinking fountain, a restroom, some exhibits that will help you learn about the flora and fauna of the park if you're into that kind of thing. The actual park is amazing. Miles and miles of very good trail, and plenty of places to feel like you're actually in the woods, without ever having to step outside of the city. Gorgeous picnic spaces where you can host a campfire picnic for free. If you live in DC and you like to hike or trail run, this is *not* to be missed.”

“For a new adventure, we drove to WBR into Port Allen for their Mardi Gras parade. Even though the weather wasn't as nice as we wanted, the parade was nice and family friendly without much alcohol consumption. My two boys were thrilled to catch all of the throws supplied by each float. We would definitely go again!”

“The place is interesting a mark in history I'm originally from the North so it was interesting to chat with the staff that runs the show there. Lots of smart people that have a lot of insights. Me and my friend Ron walked around and checked everything out and its authenticity even though it's not original is pretty fun. They were able to get some really old buildings Over the decades to put in place of the ones that either deteriorated or burned down. I do recommend going on a Sunny dry day bring a picnic lunch and chill out under the trees the whole thing is pretty Level terrain .. I would say the places very interesting. Enjoy, namaste Rob”
