“This is a cute small farm. The animals are super friendly which is awesome and they have food in a bin that you can get cups of food to feed them. We did not get to see lamas because there was none there and the area with rabbits and piglets was so full of poop. Maybe wasn't cleaning time yet not sure but make sure you wear sneakers cause u can go in all the cages with the animals .”

“Absolutely love this farm and park! There aren’t very many nice parks in south county compared to the city so this one is golden. The kids loved the farm and I love how easy and less crowded it is to get around and feed the animals. The playgrounds are great and the picnic areas are decent. The pond is a nice place for recreational fishing too. This park can be a whole day visit or just a few hours. We went an a weekday so there were a few class field trips there. Luckily they moved on to the playground so the farm wasn’t crowded.”

“Absolutely amazing. I cannot describe how great of a natural history museum and live preserve this place is. If you enjoy everything they offer, you can spend hours here. They also have a well equipped snack bar with pizza and drinks and ice cream so don’t worry about food. The animal interactions are one of a kind. I have come here since I was a child and they are constantly improving the place. If you love the outdoors and animals, (they have things like sloths, snakes and lemurs too!) you will absolutely love this place and need it on your to do list.”

The staff is friendly and professional. The horses and petting zoo animals are always well cared for. They are clean and well fed. Horses hooves are kept clean and well groomed. “We absolutely enjoyed our whole experience at the zoo! It was very clean and spacious. All of the animals seemed happy. You could tell a lot of thought went into each animals living space. We really enjoyed getting a under water and a separate above water view of the Polar Bear. And enjoyed watching the monkeys swing and play on there nice "jungle gym". I've told several people how much we enjoyed it and recommend this zoo. We will def make plans to attend again”

There is a great local market that happens on weekends that you can easily get to. Definitely bring bikes to cruise around on! And the people at the kayak rental are awesome and do tours!”
