“Rooms are very clean and updated. My only problem is the beds are too tall. I'm 5'6 with osteoarthritis in both knees. It hurts me to climb into these beds, as comfy as they are. I've literally got to lay half my body on the bed and roll into it, which isn't that easy and definitely not graceful. If they offered foot stools at the front desk, I would pay to rent one for the entire stay. Other than the height of the bed, or my unfortunate lack of height required to get into the bed, my stay was delightful. Staff was incredibly friendly, hotel is quiet for a Friday night, and the location isn't too bad at all. I would for sure recommend to all my tall friends.”

“Just spent the past 11 weeks at this hotel and the staff is just great. The room was always clean and if you have any issues at all, the front desk gets right on it. Grocery shopping and everything else you need is within a 1 minute walk out the front door. The staff did everything they could to make me feel welcome. Thank you Sunny, maintenance, Lawanda, front desk, and Mr. Tan, Sales Manager for everything and I look forward to staying with you all again in the near future. “My parents wintered at Hunter's Run for 28 years. We bought the park model from them 5 years ago. We love the activities and the people are so friendly. We have met so many new friends from the states and Canada. The association is what keeps us coming back. The park owners put in some great pickleball courts that we love. The expanded pavilion is very nice. Rates are reasonable.”

“We really enjoyed our time staying at BridgeWalk. We got to listen to the live music next door at Island Time while sitting on our patio, but when we went inside and closed the sliding glass doors you couldn't hear it. They decorated our bed for our 5 year anniversary that we were there to celebrate. Parking attendant was super friendly when we checked in. Everyone was nice! This hotel is in a great location too being on Bridge St. and right across from the beach. Your view isn't oceanfront, but we had fun watching people walk up and down the main street from our patio. The rooms are very basic but have everything you need. Because it's not a luxury hotel the prices are really affordable. We are so glad we found this place and would stay there again. :) We appreciate everyone's kindness and ability to make it a special time!”

“Came to town to work on local wind farm. Found this gem of a place in Mathis! Was her for about 3 months! Owners were always accommodating and the rooms were clean and spacious. Hotel is older but the owners have done a great job updating the place. All the staff was very nice and helpful. WiFi was good. Water was hot and had great pressure flow! Fridge and microwave worked great. Industrial ice machine was always plentiful. Convenient to anything you need and to highway. 45 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes from Lake Mathis! Good Chinese restaurant at location. Good Mexican restaurant nearby. Car wash across the street. Grocery store down the road. Great location convenience! Super quiet. Never had any issues. Even left equipment in back of truck with no issues. Felt very safe the entire time. Solid weekly rates and even got a discount from owners on pet fees! Greatly appreciated! And for all y’all who know extended stay, they cleaned the rooms EVERY day!!! That was huge! Above and beyond! So many good experiences here can’t list them all! But overall, this was an awesome find and anytime I will be in the Corpus Christi area I will gladly come back here!!! Love this quaint little place. Think so highly of the owners and am so very grateful for such a great experience with them!”

“Would have been 5 stars if the customer service was a bit better. We just got driving 12 hours on day 3 of a coast to coast move. We were tired and ready to sleep. She kept telling us and asking us not to smoke in the room. We are good people and have no problem smoking outdoors. Smiling goes a long way as well....she never smiled at all. She was not rude, but not very hospitable. The room itself was clean and nice. It was better than expected for the price.”

“Adorable, "old Florida," in a good way! Spacious spots, roads are paved and winding with lots of mature shade trees. Park is very well maintained, swimming pool is delightful. The place is huge with well over 500 sights, but feels like a gentle little town. Many of the sights have very old built-on-to trailers that have full time residents, but they seem to "work" in this special nook of Florida.”

“First time here. Very glittery place. Very clean and it looks like there are people cleaning all the time too. We lost about $200 in about 30 minutes but it did seem like a fun place overall. Lots of different food options and it was certainly bigger that I expected. I'd be interested to try staying at the hotel sometime just to have a short getaway.
