“Wished we could have seen the shop but totally understand the need to be safe. The young lady that helped us when we walked in was very helpful and she asked Chocolate Myers to come talk with us and he did. He was super nice and just as personable as he seems on the radio. It's not all talk folks, he's the real deal ?”

“Loved stepping back in time! The history of Jefferson Barracks and how integral it was to our military for so long was eye opening. Really enjoyed looking at all the old uniforms from different wars and time periods. How things have changed and how some have not!”

“We took our 2 year old train fanatic here as a alternative to the Trains at Northpark this holiday season. It was so fun! Not as busy, so he got to spend time really taking it all in front and center at each of the scenes. Great experience! Highly recommend supporting this place and taking your train fans to check it out!”

“I am beyond grateful and amazed at all the work it took to move Christmas in the Park to History Park. If Christmas in the Park wasn't already unique enough to San Jose, now it's added to History Park, which holds so much of San Jose's past. It was a feats for the eyes. Make sure to follow the music and the lights - they're synched. If I had to choose 3 favorites , it would be the Spirit of 45 display, the gas ⛽ station, and the "You Matter" tree”

“The trolley barn and trolley rides at History San Jose are a classic. The Trolly Corp. has an original trolley that ran in San Jose until the 50s, it's fully restored. A definite stop for families with kids or people who love local history.”

“It was very interesting and educational. The museum houses hundreds of taxidermized animal some of of them over a hundred years old. Many of the animals were from private collection, preserves or zoos. The displays were very well done. They reminded me of New York or Washington DC museums' exhibits. Even if you prefer, your animals to be alive (as I do) I believe you will enjoy the International Wildlife Museum. Also, the price was quit reasonable.”

“Bring your walking shoes because this museum is expansive. I could spend days here, so much history and knowledge all wrapped up in one area. Worth every dime for entrance fees. Didn't expect to be able to touch and get up close and personal with so many examples of Air superiority. Amazing, did I say that already?”

“This gallery is a hidden treasure in El Paso. Walking in you don’t know what to expect as it looks like a residential hunting but they have beautiful and extensive collection of Mexican folk art. The owners are so welcoming and they will guide you through the gallery telling you about the pieces and the artists. They even host pottery and painting classes too. If you’re looking for something different to do, I fully recommend you stop by.”

“I spent a weekend with like minded 18th century living historian's. Think Rev War and Georgian era. The guided tour given by staff at the center was top notch and explained some of the founding of Salem and the Why did the Moravian church buy the County!?!. Our weekend was a private sanctioned event and we tried to be accurate. (No we didn't dig trenches) but observed masks and social distancing also requiring All disposable eating equipment. But it didn't detract from the overall experience of learning details, of life, clothing, stations in life, certain manners (and Lack of) and skills one could take away to reexamine.”
