Twin Lakes Rv Park

Address: 3300 Shore Dr, Cumming, GA 30040, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“We stayed here for 1 month after we moved out from Utah while we were buying a house, and it was perfect for what we needed! The campground has a great location, close to shops, restaurants, etc... The campground itself has some really nice scenery. The lakes are pretty and the trails around either side are very fun to walk. The employees were always kind and helpful. A lot of people seem to be staying there on some sort of extended basis so it feels very friendly around the campground. There seem to be nice lakefront spots for people on shorter stays. Overall, highly recommend!”

Young's RV Center

Address: 1450 Dickinson St, Fremont, OH 43420, USA

Campground Park Lodging Car dealer Store

“Not a lot of stock in the size of the camper we are looking for, just a lot of used campers. Was it worth driving out from Cleveland to look? No. The salesman was very attentive. I appreciated that aspect.”

Cross Creek Park Hiking Trail

Address: 4679 Jefferson Ave, Avella, PA 15312, USA

Park

“Paved walking trail, but was all ice during our visit. There's a lake nearby, but you need to bushwhack to get there. It's a missed opportunity not to have a path leading to at least a viewing area overlooking the lake. Don't miss the hidden path that cuts through the center of the trees for a nice walk, accessible not far from the parking lot.”

West Lakeside Street Park

Address: 15625 Bledsoe St, Sylmar, CA 91342, USA

“**UPDATE** they’ve finally opened this park on May 6, 2023 & it’s relaxing! of course everything is well taken care of hence it’s brand new. hopefully it stays that way 🤞 there is no jungle gym for kids tho! been passing through here for some time & it’s still closed. 04/01/2023 no this isn’t a joke.”

“We stayed at Houma RV Park for 5 months. Managers are very kind & helpful & go above & beyond to help with anything they can. I HIGHLY recommend Houma RV if your in the area & looking for a place to stay that has Southern Hospitality at its finest. Park stayed very clean & tidy the entire time we were there & location is great with gas stations, fast food, restaurants, a hospital, coffee shop, pharmacy, & auto parts store all either in walking distance or within a 3 minute drive to fit all your needs. The Park also offers FREE cable with a $100 refundable deposit! It was also nice to catch something like 80 channels! One of the managers was even so kind as to help my husband hook it all up & when if we ever need a RV Park in the Houma area again., we will definitely being staying there if they have an open spot!”

Lake Forest Park

“Meandering walking trail, approx 0.25 miles and surrounded by trees. Great place to bring pups! There are fitness apparatuses, a doggy bag station, a separate large playground for kids where I've seen them maintaining and replacing/adding fresh bark. Public restrooms available, tennis court, which is also great for roller skating on a smooth surface! There is even a water fountain for humans and a low one for dogs. Sunrises and sunsets are beautiful!”

Bloomberg Hill Park

Address: 20301 Hollyhills Dr NE, Bothell, WA 98011, USA

Park

“Another silent little spot without to many people at it. Its calm and quiet usually which is a nice change from the lake side people filled parks. If remember right, this used to be a lover lane spot back before I was even born. Lots of those have disappeared over the years, it was nice to find them before the development got so heavy. The coolest thing about it is that if you go through far enough it leads into a long north south trail you can go on if you like.”

Kool Lakes Family Campground

Address: 12990 Nelson Ledge Rd, Garrettsville, OH 44231, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“I liked it. They don't require full payment at the time of the reservation, but you can. You check in, get your gate code, find your spot. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was a little bumpy for my sedan on the way to my site. Electric and water hookup worked well. Bathroom and showers were fine. There's plenty of space for dog walks and kids to run around. I'll likely camp here again in the future.”

Mastodon State Historic Site

Address: 1050 Charles J Becker Dr, Imperial, MO 63052, USA

Museum Park

“Nice museum for my 4 year old who loves the ice age. Plus months later we found out after a nearby splash pad was closed, there’s a great creek for kids to play in down the street which is also part of the historic site.”

Gulf Harbor Beach Club

Address: Gulf Harbors South Beach, FL 34652, USA

Park

“As clean as it will be but if they were able to clean up the beach and get rid of the sea grass as it builds up along the waters edge I'd say it's fantastic for a private beach for paying customers. The price would definitly cover for the cleanup and removal of the shoreline at waters edge for this process. And have that as a regular thing. Because seeing it as built up is a eye sore and could turn away people from actually swimming.”

Eastwood Park

Address: 422 W Cornelius Cir, Sarasota, FL 34232, USA

Park

“Park is up to date but the neighborhood is something another thing. Lots of broken down house and tons of cars on the lawn. Picked up a lot of garbage in the park. Small but would be nice for kids if adults cleaned up after themselves and the houses around were so sketchy.”

Paradise Canyon

Address: 2220 Co Rd 2615, Rio Medina, TX 78066, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“It's been over 25yrs since I've been back to this park. It definitely does not look like the way I remember. The water was extremely low this time that there was only a small section for all the visitors to swim in. It was a bit depressing, but that's nature. Besides that, the restrooms were kept clean, and the park was overall clean. It's a good place for picnics, though. Come check them out for yourself.”

Pioneer City Park

Address: 20570 SW Jonquil Terrace, Sherwood, OR 97140, USA

Upper County Park

Address: 180 Leisure Rd, Toano, VA 23168, USA

Park

“Great quiet place in the middle of nowhere. Lots of spacious fields very well-kept and clean. They have quite a few shelters with picnic tables and grills so you can have a family cookout. 2 playground sets for the young kids to play on. There's a full-size basketball court and a sand volleyball pit. One shelter is in the woods near walking and bike trails. There is also a fairly good-sized swimming pool. They have a nice little slide that you can ZIP down. Some picnic tables and then they have a pool Pavilion as well. There's also a little kiddie pool. Looks like they may be planning to open this year the logical looks like it's almost ready to go it looked very clean in the pool was filled. The kiddie pool was not and it still had some green algae in it but they may be holding off on that. There were a number of families here playing on the playground and little ones running through the fields flying some kites. It looks like they have an admission price to the pool and maybe a little snack area you can purchase from. Seems like a nice little gem that's kind of hidden it may not get too busy because of its location.”

Loganberry Lane Park

Address: 9201 18th Ave W, Everett, WA 98204, USA

“Absolutely awesome place to take ur dog. There a fenced in play area that's good size for ur furbabby to run n play with other furbabies, then there's also the trails u can take them on. Everyone has been friendly n polite n it's all around a really good off leash park id recommend it!!!”

Palomar Mountain State Park

Address: 19952 State Park Drive, Palomar Mountain, CA 92060, USA

Park

“This state park is well cared for with barely no litter along well maintained roads. The oak and cedar trees are massive and absolutely beautiful. I found many areas of grinding holes in large rocks. I imagined the past presence of families grinding acorns , fishing ,and perhaps weaving baskets. The wild flowers were varied and plentiful. On the drive up I was surrounded in cloudy weather, once up top the sun shown and I looked over to see a blanket of thick clouds covering the valley below. Great day.”
