“We really enjoyed our camping trip here. The park was quiet and the campsites were beautiful. Watch out for the bandit raccoons at the campsites. They will rob you right in front of your eyes! The bathrooms are clean, though I did find the setup a little odd. There is only one toilet and shower in the bathroom and they are in a shared room, meaning only one camper can be in there at a time. There were portable toilets outside the bathhouse, which is supposed to be a fix for this problem I’d assume. There is NO ice on the premises so be prepared to make a trip to the store to replenish your ice if it’s really hot. It was about 100 degrees when we were there and we had to leave the park to buy ice. It’d be nice if there were some available on site to purchase. They have your back for firewood though. The bundles even come with little starters and it’s $5 a bundle. Just wave one of the staff members down while they’re driving by. The lake/pond is a nice little area of the park. We took our kayaks out for a spin and enjoyed watching the wildlife. I will say that we attempted to hike the Chickasaw Bluff Trail, but near the end it was overgrown with kudzu so we never got the reward of the view and did all that work for nothing. :-( Jordan, the seasonal interpreter, was lovely to chat with. We went on one of her guided hikes and you can tell she really loves both learning and teaching. She shared lots of knowledge on our way to the fort. All in all, we will definitely return. We loved camping here.”

“This is a decent little park. There's a very short paved trail that leads to Ozark dog park, a playground, a couple of dog parks, and a small section of Pomme Creek. The old dirt hiking trail on the other side of the creek has completely overgrown.”

“Great trail!!! 2 miles from parking lot and back. Dogs not allowed:( Trail is behind metal gate, if you go between signs you're on an animal trail that ends abruptly. Found out the hard way...Oops!!! Takes about an hour round trip if you don't stop. Gorgeous views, lots of wildlife!!!”

“This is where the beautiful crooked Cuyahoga River starts. Very secluded scenic spot. Great place for a hike or flying my drone. The Cuyahoga watershed begins its 100-mile journey in Hambden, Ohio, flowing southward to the confluence of the East Branch Cuyahoga River and West Branch Cuyahoga River in Burton, where the Cuyahoga River officially begins. It continues on its 84.9 miles journey flowing southward to Akron and Cuyahoga Falls, where it turns sharply north and flows through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park in northern Summit County and southern Cuyahoga County. It then flows through Independence, Valley View, Cuyahoga Heights, Newburgh Heights and Cleveland to its northern terminus, emptying into Lake Erie. The Cuyahoga River and its tributaries drain 813 square miles of land in portions of six counties.”

“I thought this was going to be a lousy little park but it turned out to be a really, REALLY cute pond with a bunch of different types of ducks! I didn’t expect for there to be that many! The walkway was surprisingly clean for how many critters roam that small area and the memorials along the way were beautifully done. It was a highlight of my trip to the region.”

“Nice park of historical significance near a bend in the stream "Paint Creek." This location is known by locals as "Devil's Backbone." Historically, the beautiful area and surrounding hills was a camp for Miami (Myaamia) people prior to white colonization of the area. Park Details: There are two short walking trails. The one to the left/north is longer and goes up a hill and the one to the right/south is short. A few garbage cans are available, but last time I visited the portapotty was gone (just mentioning as a precaution for those visiting). Gate is often closed during open hours, though. Open hours are daylight hours.”

“Cute park. Was great to have the kids play while my husband and I took turns at the polling place. It’s in a little disrepair though. It has a skateboard park, splash pad, swings, climbing wall and several slides in addition to the several ball fields. Perfect for all ages.”

“Great Park, especially for meeting up with one or two other families. ● Bathrooms - they're in good shape but needed a clorox wipe-down. Two gender-neutral bathrooms. ● Covered tables... but very limited and all separated, away from each other. Not great for a larger group or a birthday party. People would have to separate into groups to sit at tables out of conversation range. There are also only 2 or so covered tables, so it wouldn't be an ideal park for summertime. ● Possible water feature?? The Tiki thing has a big button like it's a water feature but I did not see any holes for water spray. Maybe it comes out the top? Maybe it's not a water feature at all. If it is, that would raise it a notch for a summer location. ● Water fountain for kids. ● Mid-Size playground. Big enough to accommodate older kids but not one of the big ones as far as parks go. Good enough for a group of mixed ages. It has a good variety of unique play structure pieces, too. ● Alternatively, the property is very large with a lot of grassy open space. ● Sandy volley ball area, great for sand toys! The kids were getting water from the water fountain to add into their play. ● Two baby swings & two big kid swings. ● No designated parking lot, but there is a lot of parking alongside the huge property.”

“Very clean and nice accessible park. Great place for walking, jogging, and picnicking. Sometimes, there are ducks around the small pond. It is busy in the area during the week when school is letting out, so plan your visit early mornings, evenings, or weekends. You really should check it out soon!”

“This was by far the best Jellystone experience we've ever had. We went for Halloween Weekend. We booked the quad site with friends. The owner and his staff honestly made it even better with their kindness, generosity, and customer service. Looks like the have lots of upgrades coming for next season too. The cabins our friends got were gorgeous! Watch for specials, because they are honoring nurses right now and it was a great deal and special way to feel thanked. Golf carts are brand new and was a must for our big group. We enjoyed the RC track, the haunted walk and can't wait to come back in the summer to use the nice new pool! Thanks for the great trick or treat weekend!”

“★ Popularity: Locally known. ★ Size/Location: Medium. ★ Business Type: Park and Trails. ★ Business Hour: Dawn to dusk. ★ Reservation: Public. ★ Parking: Spacious. ★ Accessibility: Dedicated parking spots. ★ Facilities: Restrooms, children playgrounds, baseball field, outdoor theater, gardens. ★ Staff: None seen. ★ Pet-friendliness: Pets are allowed. ★ Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed. ★ Expense: Free. I had always heard about this park being near my house, but it wasn't until recently that I finally had the chance to explore it. And boy, was I impressed! The park is conveniently located near a local school complex, but don't let the traffic during the morning and afternoon rush hour deter you - there are multiple parking lots with plenty of space. Once I stepped out of my car, I was immediately greeted by a plethora of activities to choose from. There are walking trails that snake through the park, offering beautiful views of the surrounding scenery. There are also numerous scenic spots where you can stop and take in the natural beauty of the park. The wildflower garden is a particularly beautiful spot that is a must-see. If you're looking for something more active, the park has got you covered. There's an outdoor theater for live performances, a basketball court, a baseball field, and even a children's playground. And if you're looking to just relax and enjoy a nice picnic, there are plenty of picnic shelters and benches scattered throughout the park. The walking trail itself is paved and very well-maintained, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Walking along the trail also offers the opportunity to observe the park as a whole and see everything it has to offer. Despite the park's popularity among the local population, there is always plenty of space to enjoy the various activities. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with this park and its offerings. It's definitely worth a visit, whether you're looking for an active day outdoors or just a peaceful picnic with friends and family. I can't wait to come back for more of its goodness!”

“It’s rare that I give a park 5 stars but this one takes the cake! So here’s the run down. This park is actually 3 different parks, traditional, earthy and athletic. There is ample parking, 4 coed restrooms, handicap parking, and two small picnic shelters. The traditional park has a large play structure, a sand pit, a carousel type swing, two short zip lines, and swings. They have baby swings where parents can swing with their child and adaptive swings that latch. There’s also a path around the park. If you do 12 laps, it’s a mile. It’s also fenced in. The earthy park as two swings, two slides in a hill, a rock that kids can climb and a larger climbing structure. It also has a longer zipline. The athletic park has a ninja warrior type obstacle course. It also had workout equipment for multiple different workouts. The athletic park and earthy park or surrounded by a track that has lanes for walking and cycling. 4 times around the track is a mile. This park has everything we look for in a park and caters to children and adults. It’s l hours of fun!”
