“I love using this park as a photography location because it is so secluded and beautiful. Compared to my home, there are a lot of mosquitoes, so I like to bring the bug spray. The restrooms are great, but not always unlocked. Depending on the path you take, your scenery can be completely different than going a different way, so it's nice to explore them all.”

Josiah Hedges Park

“This little park was originally a cemetery for St. Mary's Catholic Church. The graves were moved and it was turned into a small city park. Not much there now, but it is a nice quiet place with a swing for the neighborhood children. There are actually two parks called "Hedges" in Tiffin. This small one, and then there is the very large, Hedges-Boyer Park which is located on Coe. St. out by Greenlawn Cemetery.”

Brightwater Park

Address: Woodinville, WA 98072, USA

Park

“What a gem of a park! Because its by the treatment plant we never really thought of the place as a worthwhile park to visit. We eventually did (as we are running out of new parks to drive to) and was pleasantly surprised. Parking is limited, there are no restrooms onsite (except at the Center if open) but the trails are flat and kid/stroller friendly, there are multiple ponds to explore on a short loop that young kids will be happy to walk through. We saw frogs, crawdads, water skimmers, dragonflies in the ponds. Highly recommend!”

Santa Monica Bike Campus

Address: 53 Ocean Park Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90405, USA

Park

“Great class for beginners! It doesn't matter if you have a little experience, no experience, Justino and Dayle will work with your level. The class size is very small so you get a lot of individual attention. Justino is very patient. He explains everything step by step, and will ease you to the next step when you're ready. Both instructors are very encouraging and so are the other students. I had tried learning once in my own and after this class I was able to bike straight and was learning my turns. Definitely recommend this class, it's cheaper than all other classes, conveniently located by the Santa Monica bike path, easy parking lot, and fun! I plan on taking one more to continue working on my turns. They supply the bikes and helmets, and you can take breaks as needed. Thanks Justino and Dayle!”

Claremore Lake

Address: E Blue Starr Dr, Claremore, OK 74017, USA

Park

“Enjoyed fishing here. It has new rocks on the dam. It has 2 uncovered fishing docks and a covered fishing dock you can fish at for a fee. There are many places to fish and some nice trails. There is a splash pad.”

Millerton Large Group Campground

Address: Friant, CA 93626, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“Pros: 30 minutes from town so super convenient. They have actual flushing toilets and sinks up the road which I highly recommend. There's an ampitheatre for group activities. Can hike and fish with any age. Lots of parking! Trailer accessible. Free dump site for your trailer. Cons: each campsite doesn't have a fire pit. Actual dirt area in campsite is very small. No soap in the bathrooms, and the porta potty in the actual campsite smells horrible. Saw multiple HUGE turantula spiders and had coyotes in our campsite. Overall was okay for a quick getaway though.”

Cooks park

Address: 200 E 18th St, Wahoo, NE 68066, USA

Park

“Really enjoy the Frisbee Golf!!”

Osprey Trailhead

Address: Osprey Trail, Dunedin, FL 34698, USA

Park

“This is a hike through the woods. This is not a pretty boardwalk type of hike, expect bugs, sand, mud puddles. It's very natural. That said I love this place. If you want to see some Osprey and their nest you will find them on these trails. We saw more than I could count. There is also an eagle nest that seems to be an annual thing now. The trail starts near the only restrooms you will find. I suggest a backpack, water and bug spray. The trails are closed off near the Eagles nest. If you are interested in walking to the northern tip, you have to take one of the other routes. Once you get to the far end, there are tiny sandy spots, mangroves for some shade if you like and the sand can be a bit muddy feeling if you get in the water. There is a lagoon that is to the west and a sliver of land that makes this a more protected shoreline that the true "beach" side of Honeymoon Island. I do enjoy hiking these trails as you have seabirds, all types of mangroves, turtles, snakes and a mix of saltwater life and things you might see more inland. We spotted about 5 gopher turtles, one large diamondback rattlesnake looking to cross the trail, a great many ospreys, one eagle and three owls. The park is such that if you want to hike and then go to the beach after you can change in the very nice bathhouses / restrooms. You can take a trail that leads to the northern end of the beaches within minutes. Picnic tables are plentiful near the parking area ( no tables or restrooms on the trails) so a lunch for after your hike and before the beach can make for a very full day. I have reviewed the beach before so I will leave you to look at that review if you care to. We saw several birdwatchers while on the trail who were happy to point out some of the wildlife.”

Larry J Marsalli Dog Park

“I have only been here after dark and late night. The place is quiet and very clean there are restrooms behind what appears to be a dugout baseball field at the far end from parking lot ... they close them in the evening. There are also several nice Chest/Domino tables set up with boards already built-in just have to bring your own pieces or they could be used as mini picnic tables peaceful nabor hood .”

Rockport Beach Park

“Great place to bring your kids and family. There is a cost to enter the park for $10 but its well worthy. There are many gazebos where you can bbq, and as well as kids playing areas . There are two set of volleyball nets. The bathroom has a nice shower area at the pavilion. There is an area at the end where is very calm. The place is not deep at all, so it's very safe for kids.”

I took out my front yard and bought about 20 California Natives last spring and they are all blooming right now! I love this place! Even though I live in Visalia I can’t wait to go back. Bonnie is the owner and is an amazing person and very patient with Dodos that have not given up gardening!”

Weiss Water Access Site

Address: 15608 116th St E, Puyallup, WA 98374, USA

Park

“Lots of space to park and fish (fisherman weren't catching anything today). Need a higher off the ground vehicle to be able to park ON the gravel bed. Lots of rock. Not much jasper/ agate here, but some really nice carbonized petrified wood mixed in with the gravel. River was too swift for swimming this time of year. Lost a star due to the fishing line all over, but we cleaned it up.”

Harmony Playground

Address: 1774 Glen Laurel Rd, Clayton, NC 27527, USA

Park

“Cute playground and sand/water play area. Unfortunately couldn’t figure out the water pump feature 😅 not sure if it’s functional right now. but it’s a nice playground regardless and the sand box has some toy trucks in there for all to use. Side note for if you’re taking younger kids or those sensitive to the sun- This is a very sunny area and very little shade (some of the benches are in shade and there are covered pic nic areas on both sides of the playground) if you head there in the summer the play sets definitely get quite hot to the touch.”
