There is a large covered playground area, large lake (no fishing), picnic tables, lots of benches, clean restrooms, and lots of paved trails in the sun & shade. I see a lot of photographers out there doing family & graduation pictures. Lots of beautiful backdrops. Perfect to walk your dogs. They have a few poop bag stations.”

Campground

Address: 2100 W French Ave, Orange City, FL 32763, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“I highly recommend this Campground! It was one of my favorite camping experiences so far! All the facilities: are in a great shape, very clean (cleaned very well every day!) and looking as new! Shower always had a very warm water with great pressure, which made the camping experience so much more enjoyable. As you can see in the pictures, everything is really kept nice and tidy. Each campsite has enough space for you to park your car, and set up a nice big tent. Easy access to electricity if needed. The park itself is very charming. We stayed there in November so we no longer could go into the spring as manatees were already present. But it was fun to watch them from the shore anyways. Water is crystal clear and very beautiful. If you want to have a nice camping experience, Blue Springs State Park Campground is for you!”

Rock formations are not so big like in Garden of the Gods, but for nature lovers surely great because of variety of shapes. “Beautiful, serene and infinitely more then it seems. A place where live concerts happen. Where there is a beautiful marble monument in commemoration of those who passed in WW1. Where you can see turtles, cranes and ducks waddle about. Where you can fish or on the same dock see the raindrops hit the water be transported to a painting by Monet. Where at night u can see teens practice skateboarding and messing around with there peers. Where countless dogs and family play, learn and live. Some parks are simple affairs like the dull wings of a moth others are vibrant and alive like a Morphinae.”

“A beautiful place for a light hike with a small or large group. There us plenty of parking along the street where the park is and there are s few parking lots as well. The breeze is cool in the canyon and there is plenty of shaded places at the park below to have a pic ice before or after the hike! Sadly the Caves are fenced off but there a lot of rock formations created by visitors and explorers. We added a rock to a few designs ourselves, it was a fun time! You can see the Hollywood sign from ovwe the hills as you drive up and as you're himing as well, it is worth the visit on a leisure day. Will be coming again someday soon!”
