Park

“I was stuck in the hustle and bustle and came across this gem on my GPS. It was only $10 (can get online or in-person). It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. Being, that it was a weekday, there was almost no one. The sounds of so many birds, was incredible. Walking by the ponds and hearing the water, was incredibly peaceful. I was able to take my time and walked the entire garden. Be aware, there are some small freaks, closed for updating. Great place to get away from the noisy city streets.”

There was a great dain there when I took my puppy and the owner would not stop his adult dog from pouncing on my puppy until my puppy hid under the table and I had to just leave. It your dogs aren’t really friendly don’t take them to the park and allow them to bully smaller dogs!”

“Was not looking for this park but I still moved upon it by mistake and decided to check it out with my son. I was very surprised at how cool the trails are here. My son enjoyed it thoroughly and even proclaimed that he loved nature in the middle of the trail walk. Since he made it a whole hour hiking I would say this place has a five-star review as far as I'm concerned. There's probably a lot more to this place than I got to check out. Also there were signs that said the lookout for ticks and Lyme disease so you should be prepared if you go to this park and take some anti-tick sprays and or close so they can't hitch a ride. Check out this place”

D Ranch Preserve

“The person that gave this preserve a one star review for not being able to find it doesn’t realize that it hasn’t opened up to the public yet, since it’s just recently been acquired and protected. I was able to participate in a bioblitz here, yesterday, hosted by Conservation Florida. It was a great experience to be able to get a first look at what these advocates for land & native wildlife preservation have planned for this area. I’m excited to see another piece of native Florida thriving again. So, five stars, easy. Thanks to everyone involved.”

There is a $10 fee to enter the sculpture garden, but in exchange you get a small artwork to take with you, or a credit toward the purchase of a larger piece. There are works by seven different artists displayed. I was amazed, and glad we stopped by. Lone Pine Trailhead

Park

“Nothing better than a nice day in Arizona. The heat is starting to come in and the time to go outside is coming to an end. But we have so many trails here they're never ending I could post for years and probably never ride the same one. Started just off a highway 87 and went off is Evan and with all the way over to Roosevelt lake. Check that up for peaks radio tower and all the way down to the lake. Round trip goofing off time out there for about 6 hours. You can do it in your truck but you are definitely going to need to lower the air pressure in your tires. But you will need a way to air them backup. We were on a side-by-side is my side tire pressures around 6PSI and suspension set on soft, Able to do about 35 miles an hour comfortably. You will not be able to achieve the speed in your car but you can still take the whole trip in your car. Hope everyone has a good day and a good time if you go. Always feel free to ask me questions.”
