“Small, but nice park tucked away across from the school on Garrett Road, near Garrett & Hope Valley. “We only had a short time here and we didn't get to see all of the park by far, but from what we did see I'd happily come back. The drive through the park was beautiful and the kids loved seeing the osprey nest. We walked along part of the lake and over to see the big cottonwood. The number of different trees along just the short trail we followed was amazing, we counted at least 13 species and I'm sure we missed some! The kids loved looking for animal sign. I was very excited to see the horse riders in the park, and we saw ample picnic tables during our stay.”

We rented primitive walk-in sites and they were perfect, private, and relaxing! They also have a little gem mining station that our son loved, he had so much fun getting to play in the dirt and water! The pool and playground were nice and clean as well, our nephews had a blast being able to swim! Also the arcade was a nice little stop to play some pool and entertain the older kids for a bit! Overall, I was so impressed with this campground and will definitely be back soon! Super family-friendly and an awesome place to camp if have little ones! Highly recommend!”

Three Bears Recreation Site

“A neat little campground along the Mololla River. It is a park and haul campground, so you will want to have some means of carrying your gear from your vehicle. The sites aren’t too far from the parking lot, it’s just not as simple as a park-in campground. The location is perfect for playing in the water. We went when it was very warm outside. The water was amazing. No cell service at the campground, so keep electronics at home. Outhouses don’t have water or sanitizer. Plan to bring something for your hands.”

The only downside is bathroom access there was a porta potty up at the park up until this week which was my granddaughter's birthday which we had at Boyd's Park.
