“Boca was a great experience! We stayed at site 16. It had a beautiful view of the lake and mountains, perfect distance from the bathroom, and an amazing spot for stargazing! It’s close to the highway, about 5-7 mins. I didn’t have much phone service at the sight with Verizon, but my partner did with AT&T. I definitely recommend for a quick getaway or family vacation!”

“Hardwood Haven Campground is breath taking. We rented a cabin for 4 nights. The cabin we rented was clean and spacious offering a kitchen area equipped with stove, refrigerator sink and microwave. The second story has bed frames perfect for any sized inflatable mattress and is roomy. The front of cabin has a covered porch allowing us to enjoy the view of this areas beauty. There is a bathroom in our cabin and two shower houses on grounds. The shower houses were clean and easy to use. We met several of the seasonal campers and the owners. Everyone was very friendly pointing out their personal favorites of the campground they call their summer home. The owners are very passionate about their grounds keeping every area neat and in good repair. I had the pleasure of talking with Kim and John, the owners, finding them to be very pleasant, down to earth people. We were fortunate to be invited to participate in their flea and craft show event on Saturday meeting several of the area locals and other crafters that share a passion for their choice of artistic abilities. It was fun to set up a small table of my handmade ceramics and join this event. Thank you Harwood Haven for a very pleasant stay.”

“Wow, this is an absolutely amazing bike park. There is truly something for everyone here- from pump tracks, dual slalom tracks, stairs, slopestyle courses and single-track and everything in between. There is terrain for every level rider as well, so you can work your way up. The views of the Rockies are incredible from everywhere in the park! We went on one of the first nice weather Saturdays and even with the park being busy, there is so much to ride that everyone is spread out naturally... you're never waiting long to drop in. The park is very well cared for and maintained to perfection. There is a huge dog park, various walking trails and playgrounds as well for the whole family to enjoy. This place blew our minds as we have nothing even close to the likes of it back in upstate NY. I highly recommend checking it out.”

“Had a great visit during the Civil War Reenactment weekend. We have been to the farm four times now and just love the experience, but this last visit was the icing on the cake. The entire village was an encampment and we got to enjoy it with family. Good times, and will definitely go back again. Only some minor issues, we were not able to find where they were giving the "historical" talks, and we missed them. “Didn't go inside. However, the outside was exactly as seen on the news and on documentaries. Didn't realize there was a very small govt dedicated park/monument of sorts right across the street too. Pictures on the fence and 2 sets of statues at the park site. Also an App can be used to scan a bar code for more info at the park. Park was nice and shady. Great place to rest your feet. All worth a look if you're into history. This location is historical.”

“I was not expecting to find a park here, and I certainly wasn't anticipating it to be so interesting and beautiful! There's roughly a mile of trails, if that matters to you, but more striking are the gardens in the center of the park and the ruins hidden throughout the nearby woods. This place was fascinating and eerie. The only downside is the prevalence of poison ivy. It's not on the path, but don't wander unless you're paying attention.”

“Well fenced in area that is mowed for dogs to run off leash in. There are two separate areas, one for small dogs and one big. Courtesy poop bags are provided and there is a working water fountain with dog bowls under it. There are a few obstacles for dogs to run through and jump on. One thing we enjoyed was that there were a few benches under a tree to sit at while the dog played. This dog park was really clean and seemed like a safe place for our new pup to play; it met our needs of off leash exercise and play.”

“This is a smaller quieter park. The playground is located on the northeast side and there are no bike trails or any walking trails. There are picnic tables & a horse shoe pit and the only parking is on the street next to the park. Right in the middle of this park is one of those big tall metal towers which has concrete slabs keeping it secure. There are no public restrooms here at this location except for a small port-o-potty. This park is only about 2 blocks long & a block wide pretty much in a residential area. There are a few shaded areas if you don't mind sitting in the grass, which looked green & healthy!!”

“A wonderful little park full of forest trails and lots to explore! There's a kids park and lots of rentable covered areas for get togethers. I've not seen it get too busy which is also really nice. Some trails can be pretty steep but my toddler can manage them pretty well so it's not too bad for kids and families.”

“My family and I loved this park. There is a bait shop and a Restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The kids enjoyed both the small and the larger playgrounds and they loved the spray park. The guys went fishing on the pier and I especially loved the fact that we were able to bring our dog Max so that he could enjoy the park as well that was a definite plus.”
