“Greetings from Northern Virginia! Hadn't been to this park in many years, on a previous family visit when my kids were young enough to want to go to the playground every day. Super nice little neighborhood park with sandy playground, lots of swings, a covered picnic area, and a curvy, paved, partially shady walking path with exercise stations. There's ample parking including handicapped spaces, and even an ice cream man who stops by the entrance. Lots of people and pups socializing and exercising and relaxing. They all seemed happy to be there. Great old trees (a neighbor walking the path told us one is 100 years old!) Also a geocache ;) Suggest adding a few additional benches along the trail for folks who need to sit every once in a while and also small signs identifying the more significant, interesting trees.”

“This is a nice sized park with a really great playground. Playground has one tall structure for older kids and a couple of smaller ones for the little(er) ones. There are also a couple of swings, though one of them (the hammock swing) has been missing for quite a long time. Big downside is that the playground has sand. And some of the slide elements are not really shaded so can get uncomfortable on sunny days. Decent restrooms too.”

“Excellent camping spot. Went late March. Very little mosquitoes; sites have partial shade. Stayed at spot #61 K. Facilities are clean and accessible-plentiful. Hot showers in two bathrooms. Lots of hiking and biking trails. Staff at check in and front was super helpful. Would stay here again! My kid loved all the birds( cardinals) and wildlife ( including tiny wild rat) coming by our campfire.”

My son started playing in the Roseville Little League and it has become 1 of the 2 practice fields, and now I don't think there's another field I'd want to practice at. “I think that most of the reviewers are talking about a different location, because this little pocket park is not right next to the LA River, but is rather right across the street from the railroad tracks. It’s a very urban setting, and not a park designed for exercise. But here’s what it’s good for: Go to a grocery store and buy a stick of butter and a bunch of grapes, then buy a loaf of sourdough bread from the bakery across the street (the best sourdough bread south of San Francisco), then go to the park and have yourself a nice little vegan lunch. It’s a pretty setting, but don’t expect to see much if any wildlife.”

“Very nice and open picnic shelter for birthday parties or small events. Can sit upto 60 people. Small kids playground across the shelter is very convenient. Open area with plenty of sunshine during summer. 2 volleyball courts next to the picnic shelter. Need advance booking for events. No lights, so need to wrap your event by dusk, however there are electric outlets for appliances in case someone needs it.”

“The park is well maintained. The sites are mostly level and paved. There is good spacing around the sites and the parking pads are at an angle to the road making it very easy to back in. There are very few trees so you won't get any shade or protection from the wind. The park is directly next to the beach and trails connect to the day use section of the park and the rest of the trail system. The park is on the western shore of Lake Erie so the waves are minimal unless the wind is out of the East. Unlike many state parks there are some full hookup and 50 amp sites. Even on a hot day at pretty full occupancy there were no power issues.”

“My sister and I stopped by here today and were totally entranced by the amazing autumnal vibes. This park is clean cute and surrounded by nice mom and pop stores. There is a little walkway that leads to the cute antique shops and restaurants on Nolensville road. Also the playground was nice. This park is so pretty and quiet. I highly recommend for thoughtful walks.”
