“Lots of fun! We took our adult disabled son there for his first get together with his friends in well over a year. The park district held a talent show for his group. Social distancing was entirely do-able and there was a little stage for them to compete on. Also there was a building with an indoor kitchen. Nice park looked well maintained”

“It's the perfect toddler afternoon. Anybody with kids will know what I mean when I say it the perfect little kid trail. Not too long the path is distinguishable and not too difficult. My three-year-old absolutely loves it here and the nearby playground and covered area are a plus as well.”

“We were there for my 10 year old's football game. There were several teams that played that night so the park was very active. It was beautiful to see so many people, of all ages and ethnicities, enjoying the park and one another. The grounds and facilities were very well kept!”

“The staff were polite and very engaging. I stayed in the one bedroom suite which was beautiful and roomy. I brought my two dogs with me which turned out well. The dog area outside was huge and had plenty of room for them to run. The breakfast was tasty and the hotel was very clean. The only issue that I had was that the tub drainage was not good. My weekend stay was great overall!! I will definitely be back to stay again.”

“Absolutely awesome park they put in there now. Just a heads up there were older teens there and vandalised the main big slide but overall the park is in great shape. Had a good chunk of kiddos there and many friendly adults. There is abundance of shade and places to sit there is even a picnic table there. Overall it is a well maintained and friendly park and parents yes you can go with your child on the equipment.”

“Nice course with no water hazards. Golf carts are in good shape. The course is well maintained. Greens run a little fast. There are NO tee times. Just show up and first come first served. They pace out the start times pretty well, but it's never enough. Nice variety in elevations. Some sand traps, but no water hazards.”

“Beautiful sites and scenery. We had a double site for $50 a night. No discounts with passes. I don't see how two campers could occupy that site except for tents ,camper vans, and small motorhomes with no sliders. However, we loved our site with full lake view. Great camp host made friendly rounds and delivered firewood. We did a lot of off road bicycling. People active on kayaks and paddle boards.”

“Stumbled across this cute little park. It's absolutely perfect. Shady, picnic tables, swings, climbing gear, and more. There is a tiny parking lot to park in, but no bathrooms, FYI. It looks well kept and clean. There is plenty to do for small kiddos, to lower elementary kids.”

“This place was our first ever hiking. (Me,husband and my 2 sons(7/11). For us it was about 45 mins downhill to get to the waterfall. It was hard to go back uphill..We did pretty good though. The water place was so beautiful and refreshing.”

“They did an amazing job! Unfortunately had to get some mold removed from our home but Alberto made it easy! They did a really thorough job and finished in good time. I highly recommend! Other places tried to charge twice as much for the same job and required even more demolition than was needed. Mold busters saved us a ton of money with their fog treatment because they didnt have to demolish everything to get rid of the mold. They do amazing cleanup for an amazing price and they were very trustworthy in our home while we had to be away for the fog.”

“Easy to find a parking lot to sit and eat lunch or dinner with nobody around!! Basketball courts Lit pavilions Frisbee golf Playgrounds for kids, with rock-climbing walls (most 6-10yr old kids love these) Multiple restroom locations Also, really nice place to sit and get your mind right if you wanna get away and think for awhile. Reason for 4-stars? Doesn't appear to be any grounds/landscaping maintenance. Not really the most beautiful place to sit. I will say, however, that's it's always peaceful when I'm here.”

“Amazing wetland preserve right in Madison! Great place for hiking and wildlife viewing! Description - from DNR website. Cherokee Marsh is part of an extensive wetland complex of more than 2,000 acres. The north portion has been classified as a fen although it contains species characteristic of low prairies, shrub-carr, bogs, and sedge meadows. Southward are areas of shrubby meadow where about half of the cover is bog birch, willows, and dogwood. Most of the southern portion has been ditched. In several areas dried by the ditching, the community composition is more like wet prairie. Some areas along the southwest and southeast borders are quite disturbed with canary grass or nettles dominating. The hydrology of the area is complex as evidenced by the changing community structure on level topography. The site is used by many species of mammals and birds. Management activities include brushing, burning, and reestablishing normal hydrological systems. Cherokee Marsh is owned jointly by the City of Madison and the DNR and was designated a State Natural Area in 1976.”
