Signs posted say it's closed on the river-side, but there has been a man made off-pavement path way to maneuver through. It's a beautiful area but watch for snakes! “No matter when I go, it's always peaceful here. There's a large,gated dog park, frequent grazing deer, turtles, intriguing birds and insects and watch out for gators! There are large picnic shelters, public restrooms, a boat launch (fees apply only there) and a butterfly garden. Most of all, there are trails with wonderful nooks and crannies to explore and a beautiful observation tower overlooking the park. It's my Zen spot.”
