“Fun park for the grandkids, but the bathrooms weren't open. Not sure if it's due to COVID-19 or cuz it was the evening.”

“CountryView RV is an amazing park with incredible owners and guests. Extremely well-kept park with on site owners who quickly respond to all and any conditions that arise. Hook ups all in excellent condition and grassy spaces between each site. Gorgeous sunsets and helpful neighbors Very personable group and family like attitudes with everyone looking out for each other. The lake views are beautiful, the public restrooms and laundry rooms (two!) are always clean and in working order. Coye and Terry host social events for us all and there have been some very stimulating conversations around the fire pit as well as some local music talent shared! The donkey and horses love their carrot treats and there is plenty of wildlife to spot on a quiet evening. Great views of July 4th fireworks in every direction!!! I stayed for a year and plan to return as soon as possible. No highway noise and very serene setting. You can’t miss this one if you’re smart!!!!”

“My grand kids go often. Its quite, clean with 2 play grounds that have plenty to play on for all ages. Big base or field to have a family fun game. Only issue the grass if full of sticker burs so not so much to take pets..”

“I love this park. They just remodeled it and it looks gorgeous! They have a few gazebos for parties and also have a nice play area for the kids. Older kids have the basketball courts.”

“Beautiful park, but the dumpsters were piled high. Also, be wary of #50 during the month of July. It is the only site I saw (mine) with a tree of paradise, and its attendant bugs that feed on that specific tree for one month during fruiting/seed dropping. They are harmless but everywhere, and kinda weird as they love traveling in the same direction. Freaky. Staff was nice and sites were big and spaced out.”

“Great little park. There’s a small rustic playground for the kids, a winter sledding hill, picnic tables, a grill, and a very well landscaped courtyard. There’s also a great view of St. Paul.”

“This is a really, really nice park. I actually have not seen anything like it. It has a stage area with built in instruments and seating for kids to actually (or pretend) to be hosting a concert. There is a this gadget box "thingy" that plays popular nursery rhymes when you turn it. I should have taken pictures. The only reason I give this park 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was no diversity amongst the kids at play. All of the children look at my son and stared without attempting to engage him. A few even ran to their parent with fear in their face. The kids literally played around him as they appeared to be having a ball and when he attempted to engage, they ran. However, after he seemed to pick up on "not fitting in" he navigated the park on his own and still had a good time. We stayed roughly 3 hours and he still put up a fuss at our departure...he wanted to stay. This park is phenomenal. Great for kids, just needs parents who welcome diversity and encourage children to be kind and inclusive to all.”

“We enjoy the playground. Only wish the Parish could put up something to cover it. We spent 30 minutes. The slide and rubber walk was so hot the kids couldn't slide or run barefooted. In Southern Louisiana our kids don't like shoes...lol!”

“Quaint green space in the heart of Franklin village. Tennis courts, baseball fields, and a gazebo make up this property. Dogs are welcome. There are a few picnic tables available.”

“No real amenities, but well maintained with nice benches. Great small town place to walk in a quiet, uncrowded atmosphere along Black Earth Creek where you won't be worrying about COVID or getting robbed.”

“Arrived as Groundswell was switching story posts for the Poetry Walk. The school poets were talented and thoughtful. It was a great afternoon for a walk, but it was slippery on the hills. There was a noticeable amount of 🐕 poop so be careful on your way.”

“We love dog boys ranch for our big boy, Bud! They have helped us socialize him during the pandemic, and they are great to tell us how his day went each time. He comes home happy and exhausted. We’ve also used their trainers, who are awesome as well. Definitely a great place!”

“Enjoyable morning walk in our neighborhood. The Eagle River is frozen right now, though likely not for long. To hear the crunch of crusted snow underfoot while the river still rushes under ice is an auditory gift. When the sun is out (and even when it’s not) any trail along the Eagle River promises spectacular scenery. Walking on waves frozen as if they were tectonic plates is precarious but equally exciting. Good walking poles and cleats help in the winter. I’d suggest poles for summer treks as well. Walking near rivers requires caution, no matter the season. Enjoy but keep a safe distance from open water. Don’t try to cross in any conditions less than ideal and without proper training or assistance. Remember, bears frequent the area in Spring, Summer and Fall, moose as well.”

“Great park, some wildlife, needs a trashcan or two. Can't wait to see the new map there are according to my GPS about 5 miles of available trail to utilize. Love going back in there to unwind and enjoy some quiet surroundings.”

“They had a spectacular 4th of July fireworks show! Completely mind blowing experience. The covered the entire sky or so, it seemed. Would highly reccomend coming early and leave soon as fireworks cease to avoid traffic. Its nestled in a cossack. So traffic is guaranteed to be a problem.”
