“The mudsock trail cuts through the Clover Groff natural area. Although the trail is short and not paved, it is very well taken care of & good for a short walk. Good place to bring the dog. The trail connects to two different parks (Spindler & Frank's).”

“We love this fun, quiet tucked away park. Especially since it's covered where they mainly play. Anything to protect us from this heat lately. They have soccer nets, a basketball court further back, a nice trail to walk your dog and a gazebo as well. You could probably fit a 6ft table and have a small gathering there because there's a bench around the inside of it already for seating too. We enjoy this park and usually stay about 45 mins - a hour here.”

“Never actually camped there, always around the general area. Location is right near a spot that is frequented by shooters (legally). Don't expect a peaceful day of nature sounds without the occasional gunshot. As I am a part of that, I also apologize.”

“Fantastic place to visit for my dog and I. Lots of trees, which ment lots of squirrels to chase and lots of shade. Plenty of places to sit while she had long stretches to explore and run. The people have done a nice job of keeping it clean. Several tennis balls should your pup want to play fetch. Lastly there is a small obstacle course that was maintained.”

“Very nice park by the lake. I went on a Saturday around noon and only one other car was parked. Big parking lot with plenty of picnic tables. It does have a covered area with tables but you have to reserve in advance. One restroom is available on the north east parking lot. I saw many water birds on a shallow island off shore. A rough trail along the lake provides more views of the lake. One minor downside is noise from the road. Overall I give this park a thumbs up. 👍”

“Hiking and exploring was great. Found an old one gallon coca cola syrup jug while down on the river bank. Was an interesting find. Also found a really great fishing hole with some massive catfish. Definitely gonna have to do some more exploring when I go back.”
