“Probably one of the nicest parks in Pomona! It is next to a quiet residential area! Has two separate playgrounds for kids aged 2 to 5 and 5 to 12. Also has swings!! Has some picnic tables but no public restrooms unless there are some available inside their small community center. Also has no workout equipment. But very beautiful and clean.”

“This site of a defense station that was planned to have anti-naval vessal guns to protect the area against possible invasion in World War 2 have been converted into a beautiful state park. The water access is perfect for kayaking, the trails are great for going on a walk, with or without your dogs; and if you want to go camping this park provides you with places to do so. To enter you will need a Discover Pass or pay for a day pass to the park, camping also has a fee. The visitor station also sells water or ice creams if you didn't come prepared for when the park gets hot during the summer.”

“Pretty good park near the closed down Speedway. You can definitely tell it's an older park, bit it's still lots of fun and not in any disrepair. Not a whole ton of stuff, but there's a cool wobbly balance beam and a zip line. There's also a soccer field with nets and softball field.”

“This is a pleasant park. It has good play areas for children. It has an acceptable pair of sand volleyball courts. The courts' sand is fouled with vegetation and burrs from the adjacent woods.”

“This is our second stay here and once again, it surpasses our expectations. On our first visit, we had problems getting to the coast. We called to let them know that we were going to be late. It was not a problem at all and someone was at the gate when we arrived around 9:30 pm to help us get situated. And thank goodness because that was our first trip with our first RV! We had such a great time, we decided to come back. We really appreciate all the extra things they do for their campers, like having a Peloton in the workout room. We have one at home so it was awesome to have one available while on vacation. In the club house, there is a fully stocked kitchen for their guests to use. We have used it twice now to cook big meals for our family. It is really nice to not have to do that in the RV. Any time we have needed something, there is always someone around to help us out. We love it here and we plan on coming back every year!”

“This is a nice little park and a great place just to stop by and get away from it all. It seems to be relatively unused and perhaps not very well known. Yes there are bigger parks in the area and many of those are better equipped but as I said it's just a really nice place to eat your lunch, catch both your breath, say a quick prayer and then jump back into life! As Always, Enjoy!”

“Beautiful and amazing! I took the birding option, it was awesome! The lady was really nice and informative. We were automatically given binoculars. The lady said that it was a birding rest stop during migration so it was great to see more birds. The birding option is so relaxing and makes you appreciate nature. Perfect nature getaway, never miss it!”

“What a beautiful oasis in the Bronx of New York. Yes you have to pay but it is worth every dollar. You can also just buy membership instead, as you'll more than likely want to return if you live here. Safety restrictions are in place at the moment to limit numbers and enable social distancing. Although once you are in there is no limit on how long you spend in there. If you want to see the spring blossoms I'd book very soon. Many of the blossoms are already well in bloom and look stunning but there are still more to come. The daffodils seem to be all out but not the tulips yet. The Kasuma exhibits are a joy to see in all their colour. The restaurants are open for food. You may have a queue a little at busy times. We didn't eat but the pizzas we saw looked very good. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Our two young daughters also loved running about and doing the quit hunt along the way.”

“Cedar Grove Park here in my neighborhood is small but never crowded. I use the walking track then knock a soccer ball around on the multipurpose field, awesome natural turf!”
