“The reservation system is a certified mess!! 😵 But when you eventually manage to get a spot, it's a really great place to relax and spend a few nights away! Each site has water and electric hookups, as well as a charcoal grill and picnic table for dining. The bathrooms have basic showers with endless hot water, and there are even washer/dryer units for the longer term stays available. Camp store prices are about what you'd expect. But the store folks are helpful and friendly. And can provide firewood and fire rings for those who like to sit by the flames before turning in. Sites vary in quality and comfort. Just like anywhere. Do your due diligence, and check out your sites before booking. There are video reviews of the various sites on YouTube with a quick search if you're not local also!”

I had a 4 inch PVC sewer line go out, and with only a day's notice, it was fixed, because Matt bought the parts he needed for the job ahead of time, and was able to work around my crazy, unpredictable schedule. And instead of putting my job off, until the next day, he worked late, and got it done, and didn't stick it to me for after hours labor. This guy is going places! Two words: "Hire him."”

“This is a great place to catch a sunset and take a walk through the prairie. In the summer there are chickens to visit and it's always fun looking at the old farm equipment on the lawn. Once Covid breaks, this park hold great events for families like Heritage Fest and Halloween on the Farm. At Christmas, there's usually a holiday tea in the house that is always nice. The farmhouse has a working wood stove that is used to teach people how to cook the old fashioned way.”

We booked a reservation at another nearby RV park, but when we got there, the spaces were all tightly packed together, kids were running and yelling everywhere, just pure chaos. We immediately went out looking for a peaceful vacation destination, found Estes and it was perfect! We came back for a second stay a couple of months later, and will be back again soon.”
