“I found New Era Motors by following an advertisement from a national website. A real salesperson answered the phone, and was able to answer questions about the several cars I was interested in on their lot. They were friendly, straightforward and confident. When I arrived at the lot, I was greeted by the same sales person I spoke to on the phone. We spoke briefly about expectations for a car with 192,000 miles on the odometer. The keys were offered for a test drive, which gave me an opportunity to drive the car for almost an hour. Purchasing the car was easy and completed quickly. I have now been driving it as my primary vehicle for several weeks. I feel confident that this car will offer the reliability I need for the next several years. All for a price I felt was very agreeable. My overall experience was that New Era Motors has exceeded my expectations of a used car dealer. ““You should try a BMW X5M or a Trackhawk”, my last sales person at another store & brand told me, when I again asked what was out there that could replace TWO of my current beast SUV’s, with ONE. James, nailed it. “We have a plug in demo, and a CPO 2022 X5M, BUT I also have—hard to find—an almost fully loaded brand new X5 M50i someone ordered, and backed out of. Same V8 as the M, but posher. Come see it.” I did. I loved it. And it checked the performance boxes I loved of the M, but in a posher more luxurious package, for…$25k less. James & the Gebhardt team, including Tomaso, and especially Ryan Ballweg in finance, were on point and incredibly helpful, with a complex “trade 2 brand new expensive cars for 1 new expensive car”, and even instantly available by text & email as I was traveling for work on the east coast. Everything was done, ready, wrapped up, they helped me get my 2nd trade to the store even on a busy Saturday, and have been nothing but a pleasure to deal with. Refreshing, after the last few expensive cars I’ve purchased and their dealers, to also experience how great the service team is here. Needed something checked out, and instead of “we’ll take a look and see”, even on a Saturday they had the Shop Foreman Jonathan to go for a ride with me to understand—no guessing. Live in Denver, and yes, technically we have 2 other stores “kind of closer”, but the experience at Gebhardt in Boulder and fun, easy 32 minute nice trip is worth it. We were interested in the Jeep Wrangler High Tide edition and they had just sold the last one on the lot. She was able to get another one for us and required a $1,000 deposit to hold it upon arrival. This made us uncomfortable due to the negative reviews but they stuck to the negotiated deal made over the phone. We sent pictures for the trade in, got an estimate over the phone, which was a fair price. They did NOT add extra fees once we got to the dealership either. We live about 2 hours away and did everything over the phone until it was time to go pick it up. Kept us updated while we waited for it to arrive…just all around good communication. I am so happy with my first Jeep purchase and definitely recommend this dealership. “8/29 UPDATE: updated to 5/5 Stars... Tim (Service Manager) and Brandon (Service Advisor) went above and beyond to address the issue initially mentioned. Initial message was never relayed. They offered a pretty big discount on my most recent service to compensate for the previous mistake, and stood by their word when it came time to check out. They even offered me a loaner car to use for free while my car had major work done (We had a trip planned and only have one vehicle). Highly recommend this dealership because of their professionalism & genuine concern for the customer. Tim & Brandon are fantastic and I've been going to them for years! 8/22: Garnet Volkswagen has had most of my business in the past, but they scratched up the paint on my custom wheels and never called me back to discuss. Not sure if the message was ever relayed to the Service Manager. I will continue going to Garnet VW because they have made things right in the past, but this is unacceptable. I will be calling again to discuss & see how this can get worked out. I offered to send photos, but no response or call back. Please reach out to resolve this.”
