“As long as you go SUPER early in the mornings when the park isn’t crowded by other *rude* huge groups of guest, this park is very peaceful to be in! The handball courts said no skating but I always see kids in scooters in there, and honestly early in the AM when I attend the park I do roller skate in the handball court, the park workers who come don’t even bother me or anything actually most times they watch and then leave. Overall a nice park if you get there when it’s quiet!”

And I need to say this it’s run by people that work almost 24 hours a day whenever I’ve reached out at four or five or 6 AM they’ve answered and they have compassion and grace. I am in the middle of a divorce which is why I needed storage units and they have just been such nice people. May God bless them. They are good humans.”

We got some ice cream at Two Scoops abd took a stroll onto the pier. There was some life music going on. Very chilled atmosphere. We even got to see dolphins. The place is well preserved and maintained and we had a good time walking around the trail and knowing about the history. The whole walk and visit took us around 2-3 hours. Do not miss the river walk laid out in the map and the pathway under the bridge.”

“This is a large decent beach area. I only say decent because it's very rocky, particularly at the waterline. There is ample parking here, and a lot of restrooms. There are picnic areas, and a paved walking path as well. A nice park for a short getaway, I wouldn't drive much more than an hour to get here though.”
