“You can park along the housing tract but be courteous, please take any trash or empty water bottles back with you, and keep quiet if you arrive early in the morning. It’s about 40mins/1 hr to the top, south point of double Butte. There is a brass geological plaque dated in 1939 that is very cool to see. “Good campground with really good hike a dirtbiking right in site. You can hike down about 4 miles to the falls and rock diving spot. Which is what we did. Took about 2.5-3 hour each way. Was worth it. Only issue with the place was the road to the campground isn't paved and is kind of Rocky. We still managed with our sienna but it wasn't great. Wouldn't be any problem for a higher vehicle. Would recommend.”
