“So my rating will vary depending on the campsite neighbors. We have had amazing times at the campground over the past decade plus but we have also been frustrated to no end when neighbors brought lawn equipment and started destroying the woods. We have not thought twice about calling the park police and rangers. Thankfully we have gotten some horrible people kicked out for damaging the trees and nature. We will only ever camp in W section because we adore the nature and enjoy the solitude.”

“Car Pond Mountain doesn't provide good views on the top, but it's a nice short hike from the trailhead on Route 106. You can easily make it a 5 mile loop by extending the hike to Parker Cabin Hollow brook, Parker Cabin Mountain, Tom Jones Mountain and Black Rock. Trail maps are available from local hiking organization (do a search for "NYNJTC Harriman map")”

“Very beautiful grounds, I have been going here all my life and it keeps getting better and better. There is a very beautiful Camila greenhouse at the right time of year. The main greenhouse has beautiful seasonal flowers. There are tours available for the Coe Mansion. The roses here are also a big attraction here. There are plenty of pebbled trails. I like it for many reasons mainly that the grounds are open to the public free on week days which is very convenient for me.”

“Nice park. Bring your bikes and bike around the beautiful lake or go for a swim in the newly renovated pool with a splash pad and two water slides! After swimming, you can play in the great playground or bbq at the lake. We always have a great time at this park and enjoy the new pool facilities. Bathrooms are located right by the pool with ample showers and changing area. Lifeguards are great (there are many all around the pool!) and staff is friendly. There is a large shallow area in the pool that is great for younger kids.”
