“Love the paved trail. It’s nice to have a nature park that has a paved trail, on days after a heavy rain. Great place to walk dogs. They recently added a playground but it’s not open yet. Picnic tables nearby. There are porta-potties located at the start of the trail and half way point. There are a few ponds that are located near the paved trail.”

“We loved it! Plenty of parking. There is a visitor's center with restrooms and a little museum. The employees there were quite welcoming and helpful as we rented one of their golf carts. The Park is quite large, so give yourself plenty of time to walk around and check everything out. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, and you may want some bug spray. There is so much to look at, and it's all set in a beautiful place surrounded by nature. We spent a little over an hour there, but keep in mind that we were traveling by golf cart, not on foot. We definitely didn't see everything, and we're looking forward to returning in the future!”

“There are chairs & tables available for the inner, air conditioned room. Outside, there are picnic tables around a large fire pit. I think you'd have to bring your own wood, but you have to ask when renting. Nice, by the water.”

“We didn’t have much time at the park since we arrived late. Visitors center was typical. Trail that we walked about a mile of was well maintained and relatively flat. Beautiful from what we saw. Talked to the park ranger for a few minutes and he was very friendly and informative. Will come back to finish exploring and give ourselves more time here. They close at 4pm.”

“Nice beach, however, when did they knock down the snack bar? After May 1st you will need to be resident with a beach pass.”

“One of the newer metro parks. Very well maintained. Most of the trails are paved and go through woods, prairie and playground. This is a decent size park that offers a lot. It has playground equipment, shelter houses, 2 dog parks, permanent restrooms and plenty of parking.”

“Very quiet and spacious sites. Beautiful lake by Dam. Only reason 4 vs 5 is the Dub Patton camo ground isn't clearly marked on way in. I ended up over Dam at South Abutment! Coming back over dam I FINALLY saw the sign for camp ground and state of bath house in my area. Kind of corroded fixtures and just old! But for the$ it is fine!! I love the people who run the Corps of Engineer parks...hard working and very nice. I didn't meet anyone at this park but someone did return my call!!”

“WATCH OUT FOR THE INCOMING TIDE!!!!! The tide gets really high in the winter and you can get caught if you walk on the beach going right from the parking lot. Past the round brick mill remnants. This is a good sandy beach with lots of history. It is listed as an historical landmark with remains of the Iron Mill which was located here in the early”

“Amazing way to spend a fall afternoon. Free admission, free parking. Super fun to walk around and admire both the art and the scenery. Some amazing works here. Will return again for sure. Staff was friendly and it was nice that they had a restroom there as well.”

“Big playground for the kids and a small walking trail for the adults. There are also several pavilions (which can be booked) available for use for parties, gatherings, or just casual meals. There is a small creek trail inside the wood line for exploring, but I recommend going in there with your kids just to be safe.”

“Nice, clean park. We had a baseball game here. The dugout was not covered or protected from the elements. I know I would like to be aware of that after we just had a 100 degree day or if it's raining or chilly. It's a enclosed fence, kinda like a batting cage. So if it's a hot day and shade is needed maybe bring a large tarp for the top or a portable canopy to for the kiddos. We were lucky or was not to bad. The park was pretty full with soccer practice and kids on playground. Porta potty bathrooms.”

“This park is decent. It has off-street parking that accommodates 15-20 cars In front of the parking lot is the playground and 2 ramadas. To the right of the playground is volleyball court and then the basketball court.. There is a sidewalk that connects all those elements which is nice, and i also saw a water fountain. There's unfortunately no restrooms. To the left of the playground, there is a little sidewalk that I think makes a loop around the park. To the left of that sidewalk is a grassy area that you can run on. The grass is nicely mowed and cleaned. Overall, neat layout. One thing I didn't like is how the park was close to the power lines.”

“Loved it. Pretty scenery and majestic horses. Is is a bit far from any place to go. If you are looking for peace. This is the place. Go when it is cooler out so that you can horse ride. You also must arrange riding way in advance. Beautiful place. Owners were very nice.”

“Really nice park, it’s very big with a few obstacles for the dogs. However it’s not split b/w big and smalls dogs. It’s all the way up the hill with plenty of parking. I gave 4/5 stars bc people don’t pick up after their dogs making it inconvenient for others when there’s bags available. It’s by a school so I would be mindful on school days when parents come to pick up their kids after school.”

“This park is so much fun! I loved the little trail that goes around the park. They have 2 little parks here. One for 5 and under and one for bigger kids. Lots of things to climb on, swings, picnic tables etc. I loved that they had a smaller park so my toddler could play and not get knocked down by bigger kids. Also the park has a shade canopy so you can play even when it's hot. Loved it!”

“Can I do more than 5 stars. This place is amazing. So much to do for everyone. They have 2 pool areas. The kids one connects to the recreation room with a snack bar. They have play areas, volleyball, tennis, trails. You know it They have it. Movie night for the kids is so much fun especially under the clear skies you can see the stars so bright. Each weekend night they had music from cover bands to dj to karaoke. All family friendly. Everyone is friendly. Only thing I would say is it could use a few updates. But recommend it to everyone. It's definitely a memorable experience for everyone.”

“Went to visit my brother and family in Deltona and me and my sister-in-law came here to walk. It was absolutely beautiful! At first it looks like a big field but then when you start going on the little trail it's just amazing we seen a lot of wildlife; different birds, butterfly, and dragonfly it was just beautiful. Would be relaxing to bring a book and blanket!”

“I have driven by here many times and now for the first time I decided to park and in ale a walk!!! The only disappointment I had was running out of time and having to go back to work! For me first experience visiting here it turned out to be a beautiful overcast day that wasn’t too cold and it stopped raining 🌧. I loved seeing the habit and the ducks 🦆 were surely energetic as well! Dog friendly park which makes another reason to come back with them. They have bags and trash 🗑 receptacles throughout the park.”
Address: 1508 SW 356th St, Federal Way, WA 98023, USA
“It is what it is, like many Federal Way parks it isn't huge. What is nice is a place to park and take a walk. It's safer to park here than it is at the parking lot on 356th for the BPA trail.. You can also walk south down the dirt path and into Fife Heights a ways. It's also a nice spot to park if you want to walk around the neighborhood to the east. I've done all these with my dog and it's a great out of the way area with lots of directions to go.”
