“I took my son for a walk on the 1 mile trail; he was in a stroller. Even though the walk back up the hill was challenging, it was an awesome experience. The park is beautiful, and it’s nice that you can hear the water from the creek flowing as you enjoy the nature all around.”

“I have worked across the United States with my job and always stay in my RV while away from home working. I have stayed in a lot of RV parks along the way, not all of them were that great. I have been here at Arena RV Park since February of 2022 and will be for another 6 to 8 months. I have to honestly say that it has been an absolute pleasure to stay here. It is directly off of Hwy 99 in Chowchilla so it convenient for travels to pull into to for an overnight stay. With that said, for being close to Hwy 99 as it is you would think you would hear a lot of traffic noise. If you are outside you will hear some but in while in your RV you hear nothing. There is a train track near so you will hear the train but it only passes a couple of times a day so it's no big deal. The shower house/bathrooms are clean and well kept as is the laundry room. The only draw back to the laundry room is no change machine so you will have to go elsewhere to get change before doing laundry. The mangers are very friendly and helpful as well as everyone that I met here. I would highly recommend this RV park if you will be working in the area, in the area for a few days or even if just travelling through.”

“Decent area park close to Walter G. Byers Elementary close to Uptown Charlotte. Not exceptionally huge but rather adequate space to get a light stroll in. There's a standard (beautiful) ball court, outing safe house and soccer field. A lot of space for an off the cuff excursion and simply a hike from Uptown's Music Factory. Welcoming for a round of badminton or open field play. Perfect, all around kept park in the Greenville Subdivision.”

“Just a hike up the Waterfall Trail. A fairly short and easy walk from the Miller Road trailhead. The full hike is a loop. Some evidence of previous settlement, maybe a mill or barn site, and likely later CCC recreational development. Despite low water flow in July, still delightful.”

“I'm originally from Charleston South Carolina and got an itch to go camping while out here for work. One of my students of whom I was teaching recommended Sequoia National Forest as a place to start. I've always wanted to see redwoods and since I'm here for 3 weeks and have nothing left to do on the weekends, I decided to make this place my choice. I hopped on the app and kind of searched around and found a few places I like but frog Meadows kind of stood out. It took approximately four and a half hours from Oxnard to get there. Once I arrived in some small town I began my truck upside the mountain. The roads were definitely windy and excessive speed is not recommended as there are many blind turns. Once you get up to the point where you're entering the campgrounds there is about, I think around an hour and a half worth on dirt roads. The dirt road is very narrow and decides to go down to a steep degrade. But that view tho was incredible. I arrived in a car, so the road wasn't that bad.”

“Laurel Oaks Funeral Home and Shannon Bunch, the funeral director, were wonderful. Shannon was compassionate and helpful during the planning for the funeral. He made suggestions without being pushy. “The institute is a non profit that offers retreats and has its grounds open to the public. This review is for the trails visited though after eyeing the cabins and the grounds, I'm looking at signing up for a retreat. Went here for a group hike and it was a lovely, relaxed walk through multiple short trails. Mostly gentle incline except for the steep Goat trail. Lots of tree roots to watch out for to avoid tripping on the hike but other than that, its safe for older and the littlest of hikers. No restrooms onsite but downtown Langley is just a few minutes drive and has public toilets. Recommended for families with little kids, older adults, and individuals looking for a meditative hiking experience. Dogs are not welcome on the trail. Plenty of parking available.”

“Watched my granddaughter practice soccer for the first time. She did a wonderful job because the instructor did good with explanations and demonstrations was encouraging all. For this the young age though I think he was a bit wordy. You could see that all the kids and parents had a great time. Plus was a lovely day for it. The park is wide-open lots of activity going on dancing in the band shelter area, baseball game starting behind us, swimming pool, walking path, and park. it looks like a beautiful!!”

“This is the cleanest park I've been to. It's incredibly gorgeous, too! If you have a friendly dog this is the perfect place to bring them out for a gorgeous walk. Very dog friendly. People seem great with keeping their beautiful dogs on leashes so it is very safe. Plenty of places to sit and take in the fresh air and views.”

“It was a great school trip. The zoo is doing remodeling so there was a lot of construction that was going on. The animals that were there were awesome to see. The kids and everyone there had a great time, and can't wait to see what new exhibits will come. The zoo was also setting up the lights for Halloween, which was really cool to see as well.”

“Small park, limited parking, but pretty nice. Has a few of ea picnic tables, benches, & swings. Also a rock climb, play- set and slide. Several pecan trees. No sign of yellow jackets. All the other parks within 1 mile are either closed, not really parks, or have people sleeping on the benches.”

“Kings Park is great! Lots of room for activity’s that inspire being outdoors. This park is in a neighborhood that dose not have a parking lot so you must park long the road, “stay cautious for cars driving by.” All in all bring water and later up with sunscreen and great work out there!”
