“We were passing through town for a trip to northern CA and we stayed here one night. We booked online after hours and rolled in about a half hour later in the dark. We were greeted at the gate by 2 helpful kids (the employees children) and then by Ron & Monica - the security and office team. They were wonderful! They guided us to a spot right near the laundry room since we said we needed to do laundry. They helped us get our hook ups set up, then came back to check on us a bit later, and even came back again to give us a brick to hold down our sewer line (ours was broken unbeknownst to us). The laundry room was great - super clean. We loved the dog park, which was also clean and well taken care of. What we saw of the RV park was clean and well manicured. Many long term residents, but the few we crossed paths with were very friendly. Wanted to come back on our trip home, but our route changed. A great stop and we appreciate the friendliness of Ron & Monica (and your kiddos) ☺️”

Lions Town & Country Park

“It is a nice park, very quiet but I think It need to be preserved better from the city and from the citizens. Walking around I found trash in different places, expecially in the water. Restrooms are dirty most of the time and some areas the grass is dieing. Need more maintenance!”

Jackson Nature Park

Address: 9284 County Rd 401, Stockdale, TX 78160, USA

Park

“Nestled deep in Wilson Count, this park has several interconnecting, looping primitive walking trails along the Cibolo Creek. No terribly challenging parts along the trails, but there are a few steep, but short inclines. Didn't see much wildlife while I was there, but saw plenty of tracks: deer, hog, and a large cat, either a bobcat or a particularly large feral housecat. Plenty of spider webs stretching over the trails, take a walking stick to push them out of your way. Porta-johns and a drinking fountain at the entrance. Take a bottle of water with you.”

Camelot Park

“Small well kept neighborhood park. Very clean and quiet. Not much too it. Looks like something for small children. Kiddie swings. Regular swings. Small slides. Some climbing thing. Few benches. Nice lil spot to rest if you're walking/jogging or riding your bike around the peaceful neighborhood. And if I remember correctly, there's a lil mini mailbox library.”

“Extremely well taken care of! We walked in to the bathrooms and my children all commented on how clean it was! Private bathrooms, air conditioned, laundry facilities, 2 dog parks, bounce houses and playground for kids. The pool is very clean, as is the whole campground. Back in to a pond site, basketball court, or the bounce house sites for a beautiful morning sunrise. The staff were all extremely helpful and the little store saved us from having to drive somewhere for broken camper supplies. We really enjoyed staying at this campground while in town visiting The Ark Encounter! Thank you for a well kept location!”

Wassmer Park

Address: 6700 Roe Ave, Prairie Village, KS 66208, USA

Park

“Grandkids current ages 3 through 8. It was hood to see a newer park planned with multiple ages in mind. I think more trees need to be planted on the western side of the play areas to provide more shade. Or, build a structure to provide shade. The playground structures heat up quickly, rendering them useless on nice sunny days.”

Pinnacle Peak Park

Address: 26838 SE 481st St, Enumclaw, WA 98022, USA

Park

“Lovely trail with interweaving trails to get you to the peak. This trail is similar in length and elevation gain to rattlesnake but I feel it's a bit easier. There is a main road that you could take horses on that takes you to a small field with a picnic bench. From there to the peak/tower is about the last quarter of the hike. Be sure to remember which trails brought you up because there is one near the tower that branches off and brings you to the mt peak trail head instead of the main parking lot. The whole hike with small lunch at the bench took us 2 hours.”

Holley Park

Address: 1000 E 4th St, La Center, WA 98629, USA

Park

“Hadn't been to this park before (only been one time), but was pleasantly surprised by the water feature for kids. It also had a playground off the side that had a couple spinning structures and slides. The water playground had a couple of unique features that could be activated by a button near the water playground itself. A variety of water activities for kids to play with. Additionally there was a covered area on the south side of the park as well as baseball fields and public restrooms for use. Some tree cover for shade as well and wide open fields if some wanted to throw a ball or play soccer / frisbee.”

Pan-American Park

“The park has just recently been renovated. It has many new games for children to play. The playground is equipt with two separate playground in the same are for two different age groups. It has a side for the babies and toddlers to play in and also a separate playground for the bigger children to play in. The park also has a set of basketball courts, volleyball polls for playing and clean bathrooms. It even has gazebo for birthday parties and gatherings. Cascade Park

Address: 1928 E Washington St, New Castle, PA 16101, USA

Park

“Visit Cascade Park to see the remnants of the amusement park that used to be here. I read the history of the park before going, and it was so interesting to see that some of the original buildings are still standing. The old carousel building, the old pool house, and the remnants of the roller coaster were great to see. The website mentions that there are plaques throughout the park, however I only saw one on the carousel building. There is a very short walking trail, and a small waterfall here as well. I love visiting places that still have a link to the past, and this park does just that. Thank you New Castle for keeping this gem in great condition.”
