This is a heavily trafficked park and there are a lot of small children in this neighborhood. They deserve a well maintained playground! “This is place is quite serene in the winter! All you can hear is the crashing/cascading waterfall, which was almost fully frozen when we went 12/27. Hike from parking area off main road is fastest way to falls, it’s a quite steep path, so it’s a good workout on the way back! Falls and gorge were very cool and beautiful, did not hike to overlook as it a lot of stairs!”

Very quiet here, peaceful and serene. It has 22 campsites and restrooms, No showers tho The lake is stocked with trout in April. And has a great fishing dock. Great views saw eagles too in the beautiful valley it's in.”

“Rating base off neighborhood playground as that is what this is. As there is no park parking and access is side grass trails next to yards. However the playground has been remodeled and is a clean mulch area and is nice. Play ground is geared towards school aged kids and not as toddler friendly as other parks with toddler playgrounds and kid playgrounds. Also has a swing area with 2 baby swings and 2 regular swings. Park is in an open area with space to tuna and plan as well.”

Park clean and well cared for. Views of the Superstition Mountains and surrounding area quite beautiful.”

“Eagan has done some good events here, but it can be hit or miss. Sometimes the descriptions make you think it's something different than what it is. Also there are events where you have to get tickets and the site doesn't actually link you to them. In general the farm house is nice to tour and area is nice with a playground nearby for kids.”

“Visiting Bronx River Forest through NYBG was a great experience. Great trip for people of all ages. Accessible via mass transit, Metro North, and car. Free entrance on Wednesday's. There's a vast area to take nice walks and hikes. Nice displays of nature's botanical gardens. There are restaurants and a very nice gift shop. If you're into photography there's a multiple of areas to take awesome pics.”

“I live near here and walk my dog through the woods and fields almost every day. Some of the trails are used during cross country season. It is especially beautiful in the fall, but the spring with many wildflowers is also pretty. There are restrooms in some areas as well as picnic spots. Dog friendly, but please! Pick up after them!”

“Very nice place to rent for family reunion, birthday party or whatever kinda get together. Only 40 dollars to rent and it has electricity, plenty of picnic tables and grill and a water fountain right outside the door. A very nice park/playground for the kids, plenty of parking and nice clean bathrooms. Lots of shade and in the very nice little town of Pemberville. Will definitely rent again and would definitely recommend.”

“Very nice place. Great for riding your bikes and taking pictures. There's a small work-out place near the picnic area. The picnic area is spacious and clean. The grill needs to be cleaned off, but other than that it's a great grill. The restrooms are right next to the picnic area and they're clean and big.”

“One of the nicest beaches north of Virginia. So clean and well maintained. Water is so warm, calm, and shallow. Excellent for children. Doesn’t have a boardwalk, but the quality of the beach is better than anything in NJ. No comparison. Best feature of the beach is the shaded areas. They have two break areas, with a place to even borrow a book to read. It’s technically a public beach but it’s not so straightforward to gain entry. Need to pay for parking and per person. “I'm cracking up that this park is too full of forest area for someone. The park has a paved pathway that is at least ten feet wide. There is a well marked trail that goes through the woods as well. A nice, easy hike for a 3 year old on both trails. I loved it! We saw ducks, geese, and turtles.”

“Stopped by here to give my Grandkids a small treat. The winter weather broke it was a Spring like day. Well the park itself was closed for the normal season. However there were a few neighborhood people out walking dogs, jogging, walking. A few kids playing basketball. And we enjoyed ourselves very much. This place is Hugh. Enough space for everybody to spend out even before Covid. Very Very Nice.”

“This is a really cool place. We stop in while they were having one of their tractor shows it was really neat. They had tons pedal tractors along with a lot of other really nice antique tractors. Most of the tractors were in really good shape.They had several food vendors. We stopped and got ourselves some tenderloins they were really great! They also have a really nice place to camp. Friendly staff! I would highly recommend this place!”
