“Fake grass abounds in this neatly arranged futuristic RV park. Everything is new, clean and very well kempt. During the evening here we ventured outside to be greeted by the most obnoxious smell; burnt garbage with a lacing of chemical. Running quickly inside we cranked up the filter system. Oh, and the rules are strict here. No Smoking! Not even inside your own rig; seriously! And here I thought the courts had ruled that ones RV is ones castle. They would need a warrant signed by a judge to come inside to try and bust you, right? Anyway, we don't smoke ;-P One of the best things is location. Right across the street from the Maverick with the best priced gas/diesel in town. Plenty of shopping around where an RV'rs needs, whatever they are, can be met. Finally, they have the best ping pong equipment I've ever encountered; competition balls, paddle and table. Sadly you won't be able to make shots like Li Xiaoxia since there isn't much space around the perimeter of the table. Still, the kids can hoot it up in the club house with either the ping pong, or other games provided - but only with adult supervision. 18 and under need an adult in attendance, in the clubhouse, laundry, showers (yikes!); anywhere in the park in fact. On an up note, there are seven dog stations with real grass! We camped at Center Point RV Park in a Fifth Wheel and paid $60/night. WiFi download for us was 3.9-6.34 MB. Hot tip: Leave your camera home, there is nothing to see here.”

“Great pool for kids. Loved the wave pool. The splash areas are kind of annoying because they get all over your face so that could be a sensory issue, but other than that it was great Tons of attentive life guards as well”

“My favorite spot:) Not many people know about this spot. It’s definitely a hidden gem. I have seen tons of wildlife here, especially birds! If you’re a birder, this is the best spot for shorebirds and sandhill cranes. Go in the morning or evening to see the beautiful sunset or sunrise. The colors over the water are incredible.”

“It has auto gate controls Open/Close. There is a rest area with a paved short walking trail for birds watching. There is another trail about a mile long along the road but may not open during winter and spring time. During the winter, may see more waterfowls and eagles. At spring, there are more little birds.”

“This is one of the most beautiful places in Oklahoma. It is immaculately kept and there are a lot of fun things to do. The waterfalls and swimming area were gorgeous and we spent most of our time there. The bathrooms are brand new and really really nice. We stayed at the tent site at tent hill and the spaces were a little on top of each other but we were by ourselves so it wasn't too bad.”

“Fabulous overnight. This was just 2 minutes from I35 but felt like a simple park out in the country. No highway noise or highway exhaust, no lights or activity - just a quiet and peaceful night. The park looks to have two sides. Our side offered gravel sites with a cute covered shed in lieu of a picnic table. (As we seemed to be in the middle of the country we called it our very own cow shed.) Hook up was easy, sites were well spaced, we felt safe, and management was great. Jackie answered our call, was friendly, allowed us to come in a little late, met us when we arrived, and the next day let us check out a bit late so we could have lunch at Clear Springs. They are strict about noise, so it was amazingly peaceful. This was NOT a typical off the interstate campground! TIP: The camp is easy to get to off I35 but go slow as the road is a bit narrow and has a couple of odd turns. We had no trouble with our RV and towed car but I was glad it was daylight and I could easily see. The camp has two entrances and it's easy to miss the first. I would call ahead and get directions for your site as we found it much easier to use the second entrance to reach our site and the first entrance looked narrow. We would definitely stay here again. Where else can you camp and enjoy a night in the country air under your own mini cow shed? Very unique experience!”

“The equipment for the playgrounds was newer and would have been really nice if it weren’t for the graffiti, trash, blankets and who knows what on the slides and climbing wall. 🤢 Such a shame it was so trashy. It’s nice that it has bathrooms, but all the toilet paper was out when we were there. There’s a splash pad, dog park, volley ball net and sand court, basketball court, and several picnic tables in at least 3 different areas. Several trees for shade, decent amount of parking available and the large play structure has shade canopies. I would have given it 5 stars if it was clean.”

“Really nice, the blue trail that I hiked had enchanted forest vibes. It was short and sweet and exactly what I wanted with lots of scenery. Beebalm, lots of fungi, and fruiting mayapples. Also a couple really cool cliff caves. The staff here are really nice. I wasn't sure where to start hiking but a nice man named Dave helped me find the trailhead and maps. Thanks for keeping this place going guys!”

“🗺 Dardenne Greenway - BaratHaven #️⃣ Greenway 9 of 28 🚴 4.5 mile loop ☀️ 0% Shaded 📈 9/10 📝 Gorgeous greenway! One of my new favorites. I used to live nearby and my wife and I would run around the lake, but I didn’t know that the greenway extended beyond the lake until today. It’s funny, because the lake isn’t even my favorite part – there’s a prairie across the street at Bluebird Meadow Park that is stunning. There’s not a lot of signage, but if you’re at the parking lot by the lake and go right, you’ll soon come upon a fork – left to go around the lake and right to go to the prairie. I liked the prairie so much that I did two laps! The greenway itself doesn’t really have any shade, but there’s another short trail beyond the soccer field that is shaded. There’s also a short nature trail that goes through the woods and by the creek, but it’s washed out and dangerous. I’d recommend sticking to the lake and the prairie. Bonus: with the big sky of the prairie and the reflections on the lake, sunsets here are beautiful!”

“Went to support a basketball tournament for a high school kid who is also an upcoming entrepreneur. Downside the restrooms were bolted and locked. The other downside was all the kids, that did not have any respect for the elders or the little children, that were at the event, nor did they respect the property that did not belong to them. I wish they had the moral compass to know that there is a time and a place for certain activities and behaviors. Also, it didn't have swings or slides or a play area specifically for the little ones. There was only street parking. I did not see a lot nearby. We were fortunate to get 3 parking spaces close to the park. I like that there were many businesses within walking distance such as Wendy's, Popeye's, Domino's, including discount and grocery stores. There was an area past the court, where there were tables and seating. There was an area before the court that had a "mini" track you could walk or run on as you can see in the pic. The park was clean for the most part until the children trashed the place. A group of supporters picked up most of the trash, that the children left all over the place, after the tournament ended. Overall it is a decent park.”
