I find it so interesting that a family lived there for over 100 yrs claimed it as many Americans claimed land many moons ago to one day to have the government take it from them just because our government feels they can do whatever they want. Baby swings are kind of higher than I would have liked. 6 year old nephew wedged himself in baby swing whilst we were tending other kids, was a pain to unwedge him. “We were 100% satisfied with this wedding venue and our experience working with Krystal. The venue itself was beautiful with green trees and wild flowers. There was plenty of outdoor access (we rented tent for part of this space), a restored chapel onsite for ceremony, and an indoor venue hall for our reception. We even rented out the cabins and ranger house nearby to allow us to spend more time over the weekend with our wedding party and guests. We loved that we were able to rent out it out for the whole weekend--allows you to wait until the day after to clean-up if desired. We enjoyed the freedom of having the venue all to ourselves even if that meant we had to set-up and take-down on our own. Overall, we had SO many compliments on our venue and were very happy with choosing Glacier Hills!”

“I cannot say enough about how amazing this park was. It was shaded and paved. The camping section is a bit far from the beach area, so you don't get Beach goers wandering through your site. There is a great local market that happens on weekends that you can easily get to. Definitely bring bikes to cruise around on! And the people at the kayak rental are awesome and do tours!”

“This park is very nice. Lots of wild flowers, of course including Bluebonnets. A few playgrounds and walking paths to enjoy nature. There is a pond where we did see a few people fishing. The baseball parks are nice very open. The dugouts are nice and spacious. There is a concession stand and restroom were alright but could be better. It's a beautiful place to visit and plenty of areas to barbecue and picnic.”
