The park is usually astoundingly clean too but remember we all gotta do our part so please at least pick up after yourself. Definitely one of my favorite state parks and I've heard it's a wonderful place to work too!”

There is a lot of interesting history posted along the trail about the Davis family for those that also enjoy learning about the history. Miles worth of trails to enjoy. “This has to be one of the best places to park and watch the sunset. Can't say the people who live in the multimillion dollar homes like it so much to watch people walking the trails or what not. But the house's actually make it that much more beautiful to see. The park is actually opened to the public because of the nature trails leading to the end of the cliff where your able to see all of San Clemente. It has tables along with a BBQ that too is open to the public. The grounds are very well maintained and it's very peaceful and surreal there. It's open at 6:00am and closed at 10:00pm just like all the parks a round here. I usually come round 6pm it's quitter round then and the people who you do meet are actually very nice and friendly. If you love sunsets and fresh air. This is the place to be.”

“Nice public access to the beach. Most Whidbey Island beaches are private but this little park offers a bit of serenity to the public. Bathrooms and seasonal wash-off areas. They even have a sand pit area with quite the collection of Tonka trucks for the little ones. Park is early accessible, good parking, and, if you are stuck waiting for the ferry, it's a great place to relax.”

“I thought this was a great place to visit! I’m glad it wasn’t more than $5 though. If I lived nearby I might go fairly often, but unfortunately it’s about 40 min drive so I don’t think I’ll ever come back. Maybe after the renovations are finished later on, or if just in area and need some time to kill. It’s pretty small— you can do most of it within 1 hour if you weren’t sitting down and meditating. That’s good or bad depending on your outlook — I thought it was nice for what we desired to add a nice and quick place to our day. Staff was great. Thank you!”

“What a lovely walk on a perfect May evening. My husband and I have have started to get out and really explore the walking paths and nature preserves that surround our home. The trail around Fish Lake was perfect, beautiful and an easy stroll. It's a little over 3 miles if you walk the entire thing. They have benches along the way where you can sit to enjoy the scenery as well. I would highly recommend this path. You might even get lucky on your way in and get to see the Bison herd that roams the 200+ acres near Cedar Creek. Fabulous!”

“This is a little unknown gem and the town of Louisville easy to get to not so easy to find GPS made me pass it twice there's not a very big sign pointing out the displaced but if you look hard you can find it it's an easy walk although it was muddy when we went still an easy walk for two people and a dog they only let 3 Cars a day in so you have to get a horde of the proper people to get the code although we did and need it but you need to look it up on Google I cannot remember at this time it was a nice visit only took about 15 minutes to hike it enjoy”
