“I stayed here for a night as I have family in Washington, PA and the other campgrounds wouldn’t have worked for me. At first, I will admit that I was a bit worried about everything due to the reviews, but I am pleased to admit that I had nothing to worry about. There are new owners (this is their first season) and they have put so much work into making it a wonderful place! Getting off the interstate, there are many signs that clearly points you in the correct direction and my camper was able to handle the roads fine (granted I have a Class B 20’). Pulling up, there were beautiful poles with flower baskets lining the road and the owners led us straight to the site. The sites were level and nicely paved with gravel, the bathrooms were extremely clean and the owners were so nice! We needed to borrow a ladder to check something on the roof and they were extremely helpful with that! I would absolutely stay here again when I am coming up to visit family again!”

“Doggy paradise. Lots of space to run, a creek to play in, trees and hills.”

“It is a wonderful place to sit quietly and muse as long as you are comfortable with dogs. There are a wide variety of bird houses though the count of squirrels seems higher than that of birds. Moderate foot traffic crosses through. It is a small park, with nothing but shade, benches, and wildlife. However, sometimes that is all you need!”

“Took my toddler on a walk around the pond at Brown's Summit. It was the perfect distance for a two year old, and the trail was easy. The leaves were absolutely beautiful. Only saw two other people on the trail.”

“One of the best campgrounds in the State. Clean bathrooms and showers. Make sure you bring quarters to use the showers..$ 2.00 for 5 minutes of shower. Bring your own wood(oak) for your fire as the bundles of wood they sell are $10.00 each and they are pine. Which burns too fast. We paid $16.00 for our box of oak and it lasted for 2 nights of bonfire with our starter logs. Other campers where spending $40.00 per night for wood from the Camp host. Bathrooms down on the beach are clean and there are 2 fire rings down on the beach.”

“We were able to procure a last minute spot during our travels. The sites were level, which was extremely nice since we've paid our dues the past couple of nights. Linda at the office (super nice lady and lovely to talk to) gave us a drive through so we could get rest and leave early in the morning. The trail around the lake is nice to stretch the dog's legs and on the backside of the trail it leads up to a nice (Cash Only) ice cream shop. Full hook-ups were nice and there is a workout room. The location is great, pretty easy trip off of the 275 beltway. If you come from 275 and hit 50 East there is a railroad track at 13'6"”

“Beautiful slightly moderate hike. Lot of potholes on the way. Hike is a bit rocky with lot of roots in between. Couple of places i had to use hands to navigate the terrain. Some bugs. Not much views till u get to the lake. the loop around lake is breathtaking. My 10 yo enjoyed this hike. You should try it, will u? Does require NW forest pass. U can pay in the tube outside vault toilet. Or if u have America the Beautiful pass its included NW forest .”

“I hope everyone will take a moment to read this message. When Daddy passed away earlier this month our family friend and funeral director advised me to go to speak with Daddys minister prior to coming to the funeral home to make the arrangements. I did so that afternoon. Without going into detail, let's just say that meeting didn't go as planned. The reason I tell you this is because of what I found the next day. My earthly Angel! This is something that I'm certain most people don't know. The couple that manage Holly Hill Cemetery are Eric and Megan Anderson. Along with Shannon, Chris and Angie who are also there to help any way they can. But here's the kicker. If you DON'T have a church or you DON'T have a minister Megan Anderson is there for you. She is a Certified Officiant. Or in my terms a Certified Celebratory Officiant. She took the reins, spent nearly 2.5 hours with me on a holiday weekend Sunday afternoon to get to know Daddy and his life. By the time of the service those in attendance thought she knew him. They were astonished to learn that the two of us just met 5 days before. The service was amazing! I want everyone to know this service is available to them and for their loved one for a small fee. Daddy had the best send off I could have ever hoped for. I wish I had a recording of it to listen time and time again. It was soothing and everyone went away with a happy heart ❤ Please remember her if you are in need. You will not regret it. Thanks for reading.”

“This park is a very good small park near our home. It is usually uncrowded. The playground equipment is well maintained. We like that there are swings and other equipment for small children.”

“Cute park, lots of parking along the side streets. Swings are a bit away from the playground equipment so if you have more than 1 kid you might have to compromise about when to swing or slide. Park equipment has plenty of climbing things for older or more adventurous kiddos.”

“I unfortunately lost my wallet and was relieved to hear a groundskeeper had found it! It was returned to the office and Mike was kind enough to hold onto it despite a heavy work schedule. The people that work here are kind and compassionate. It seems that it would also be a great place to work! Very warm and sincere people who enjoy their job and helping people. Thanks everyone❤”

“Great neighborhood park to spend an hour or two with the kids. Good variety of playset, however, the primary set is quite high and may not be best for younger children especially if they scare easy. There isn't easy access to the top so parents can go to the rescue. Also no restroom. Overall it's a great place for the kids to play and swing.”

“Quiet park with flat field suitable for kicking the soccer ball around or teaching your kid how to ride a bike on the circle path. Also has a small neighborhood playground and basketball courts. Down the hill is the entrance to Windy Run trail which goes down to the river, and connecting trail south to Roosevelt island. Woodmont center has YMCA gymnastics programs.”
