“Really pretty path that goes along a cliff-like drop into a mostly-dry creekbed. We walked, but bikes were on the trail. We got there later in the evening, which was a lot more comfortable than the day's high which was almost 100. The area has a nice peak, which had a great panoramic view.”

Recommend bringing wood if you can, not much to scrounge from but available to purchase at Campground store on site, with plenty of supplies. Would definitely come back”

“I've always loved this park and they've made some serious upgrades in the past few years. I'll miss the tank that we used to play on as kids but I DO understand why they'd remove it. I only gave it four stars because the equipment that replaced the stuff they used to have is massively inferior. It MAY be safer but nowhere near as fun or stimulating to imaginations.”

“Nice trail for being in the middle of suburbia. The trail itself is well maintained. Some is paved & some is gravel. There is a nice frisbee golf course as well. The playground area at Candy Cane Park is riddled with trash though. There is a portable toilet near the playground. The parking area is fairly small.”

“This is a great place to walk, ride your bike or have a picnic. The breeze from the river makes it comfortable even on a hot day. I love to watch the ducks, geese and sea gulls. They also have bike rentals there. They have restrooms but I've never been inside them. Fisherman's park is right up the street.”

“This is a great place to spend some family fun in the sun. The weekends can be a bit packed, but the water is always clear. I've been several times, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding. The scenery is just great and very relaxing. With so many people though it can be a bit loud depending on where you are at. Some people tend to leave trash in the lake, which I've seen while swimming, but not nearly as bad as I've seen in many other lakes. I've even made trips during the week to see how much different it was. It was nearly empty most of the day. So if you can swing it go during the week rather than a weekend. Just be sure to bring a lot of sunscreen.this is a great place for some outdoor adventures.”
