“A very nice and well maintained park close to home. The people who use and enjoy this park are friendly and respectful. Plenty of sand, swings, climbing features, and shaded picnic tables. It also has plenty of grass area for sports, and concrete walkways away from the streets. There is also a path that runs from the back of the park, to MountainView road”

“I went to Hick Finn Jubilee last year. The new owners are a young couple passionate about bringing bluegrass music to southern California. The staff was authentic and informative, you could tell they love what they're doing. The music was refeshing to hear & a beautiful venue. Family friendly and super chill.”

“Haven't been here in years. The first thing we see is this super awesome zip line swing. The only down fall is a parent has to pull it back up for smaller kids. My little guys could barely get it. Thankfully a dad was there to help all the kids.”

“Meandering paved trails, trees enough to be a forest, just a completely nestled little gift you don't expect that fills the mind and lungs with refreshing. I adore this little park. There is a front area with paved trails, and a back area with sticks to play with and some small bike jumps. It goes from the street right up to I-5. Perfect for a short shot to the trees with your littles, or a morning talk with God. "Friendly" is the name of the feeling. Just a lovely place. It's not highly maintained, so there is some litter here and there, but it disappears - and I've never seen drug paraphernalia. That is normal to run into, closer to Seattle. But it is maintained - just enough to be clean and intentional, but it is left alone enough to feel like a homey place, not manicured. To me, it's perfect.”

“Very well thought out park. Good for the little ones, so about a half dozen families taking advantage of that. Nice shaded parking, some short trails for walking around, and a pair of ballparks.”

“Beach was alright, buildings around seemed kinda older and haven't been kept up with as well as they should be. There were a few food stands and several restaurants within walking distance. Not a far walk from the aquarium and the USS Lexington museum. All in all like most places, the experience is what you make it. Was not the worst beach I've been to though. Plan to return in the future.”

“All of the animals were very healthy and happy. I spent a lot of time with their amazing, sweet birds. I'm not really a bird person but Cody won my heart. My 5 year old granddaughter really enjoyed herself and with this pandemic she really needed to get out. With guidelines being met we felt very safe and comfortable.”

“Amazing example of the old growth virgin forests of the early US. Also, the work the city has done to protect this forest from development is outstanding! This old growth forest has many trails to explore, trees to see, and wildlife to watch. A must for any nature lover. *EDIT- I hope given the more recent controversy over the zoo clearcutting part of this old-growth forest, that the city will more formally protect this area from further loss. This forest is too special to lose!”

“Very beautiful scenic 2 mile trail a little bit of an incline but not too bad. Awesome that it caters to your dog on the walk. Also ziplining very nearby, We went early in the morning so it was fairly quiet not many people. Definitely do not recommend right after a heavy rain, As we did And there were many very muddy slippery areas On the clay based trail to try to get around.”

“This is a favorite place for my wife and I. It has easy parking, short walks, and great views. You can see the falls, and there’s a great view across the river to the old paper mill. Definitely a great spot to stop and take a walk. There are benches every so often as well. I’d recommend this park for locals, and visitors alike. Check it out next time you have a chance.”
