“The friendliest and most knowledgeable staff of any retail store I've been to in a long time! I am a beginner hiker and wanted to get some supplies for an upcoming trip. My first visit I went to get boots and I was helped by Jen. She said she only recently started in the shoe department but she taught me so much about picking the right hiking boot. Approximately a week later I came back and Chris in the backpack department gave me a thorough walkthrough. Even though I was just looking for a relatively simple bag they still showed me all the best options on the market and once again gave me so much information. I have recommended all my friends to come here ever since.”

“My experience with Ray Jay bikes was phenomenal! We were in town for a bike camp for special needs children/adults that my daughter was attending, and were told that we needed a riser for her handlebars. I brought in the riser that the camp gave us, but Ray showed me why it wouldn't work. The part needed to be ordered, but we didn't have time to wait so Ray had someone go pick up the part in town and had the bike ready the SAME DAY! It was not just an easy fix either. He added all new brake cables, and made some adjustments. It was the BEST customer service that I've seen in awhile! You can tell that Ray loves what he does and knows all things bike related. The shop was very tidy and organized which I believe reflects on the attention to detail that you will get from this bike shop. I wish I lived nearby and I'd take all our bikes there for service! Highly recommend this awesome locally owned bike shop!”

“Amazing selection and great customer service. They sold me a high quality helmet a while back and I could not be happier with it. Perfect fit and great features. The color makes it easy to spot me on the road. If you're in the Santa Clarita area I highly recommend checking them out. There selection and service is unmatched!”

“Bike shops can be magical places. When all goes well you’re riding on air when u leave. NYC bicycle Shop has never ever failed me. I went on to have my winter tires mounted, new brake pads, pedals and advice. I got all that and they even honored a old discount receipt I had. My winter tires this year are the Continental Grandprix 4 Season. They’re German made tires with some really nice technology. It’s to early to say how they will perform this winter but on my ride from the shop they felt really good. During winter I will review them. I thought this bike shop was playing recordings of birds😂😂😂 Come to find out that on a shelf above me were two Canaries. Bright yellow and singing their Canary songs.”

“Great shop with no hassle professional service. Paul made it happen on my dream build which was no easy task during the COVID bike parts famine. His expertise and great communication made the process as smooth as I could ever ask for. Upon completion my bike performed flawlessly, nothing but positive things to say about this shop.”

“Can you say speedy? Man is this shop amazing, the inventory is like a candy store for mountain bikers. They got the last part I needed to complete my build to me in 2 days!!! Colorado to Vancouver BC Canada in 2 days! They were also the only shop which had what I needed (Magura MT7 Raceline). Friendly service and quick to respond. I will most definitely be buying from here again.”

“Jerry and the rest of the team at Peak Bike shop understand customer service and have real cycling expertise to back it up. I took my outdated Schwinn in for a new shifter. This old thing probably isn’t worth the time to repair or effort to source replacement parts. That didn’t stop Jerry from scouring the web and his bike pile to find a replacement for a discontinued 5 gear shifter and rear derailed. He never gave up on the project and honored his original quote despite going above and beyond to make sure I was able to get back on the road. Love this shop and will be a loyal customer moving forward! -Justin”

“Just before COVID in 2020, I had discovered gravel roads. I borrowed an aluminum CRUX from a friend and started riding gravel for both racing and recreation. I love the crunch of gravel, the occasional drift of a back tire, the remoteness, the lack of traffic. But after 1600 miles, my relationship with gravel riding was on the rocks due to back pain, numb hands, and fatigue. Sure, I looked around for other bikes. Carbon, steel, fancy seat posts and handlebars. But, for the first time in my life, I realized I was actually ti-curious. I took a leap of faith and bought a titanium frame from Handlebar Cyclery, and they set it up for me knowing my issues. Stephen and the rest of the crew set up a ti dream. The first 60 miles or so that I rode it included the Castell Grind, and let me tell you, friends, the hype about the comfort of a titanium frame is all true. Washboards and rocky roads melted away into clouds of dust. The bike floated over sand pits and glided through chunk. And for the first time in a long time, except for some cramps due to poor training, I got off the bike feeling better than when I got on it: No back pain. No numbness in the hands. If your relationship with gravel is also on the rocks, or maybe if you just want to spend more time on the rocks than you do already, you've got to check out the titanium Burro Bikes at Handlebar. I'm really happy with my custom built bike from a local shop, and the Burro frames are American-made, as well.”

“I do not have enough awesome things to say about this place. John and his wife are amazing and helpful. I bought my fat boy bike originally over 5 years ago at $750, here it is 2022 and you can still get the same style bike here and not at an over inflated price it is still $750! I would pay that price again from here. No question. Prices are reasonable only just recently had to take in my bike for a repair on my tire and a tune-up. 100% pleased with every interaction here. If you happen to go here using Google's gps, they say they are on the wrong side of the street so whatever Google says look on the opposite side. Look for tall flags that say bicycle can't miss it LOL.”

“I was very pleased with my first experience with Dave's Cycle. Chris and the entire staff there were extremely kind and helpful in determining some of the issues on my Fuji road bike. I had a lot of chain noise and hard shifting problems which just got worse and worse within the last year. I believed my bike was just in need of a tune-up. Once they inspected it, however, they also found that my rear derailleur had damage to it and was slightly bent with both pulleys having excessive wear. This explained the hard shifting and chain issues. They also found that my rear wheel was well out of alignment. After they completed the work, the bike feels brand new. No more resistance like before. Their prices are great and I will absolutely be coming back. Great selection of accessories there as well. Thank you again!”

“I have to brag on my experience with the owner of this store. He is so knowledgeable and helpful, and it shows with how many people drive across multiple states to purchase from him. He has a large inventory and reasonable prices. He sets up his trikes with accessories that he would recommend as standard based on his biking experience. The accessories are always functional for the type of rider you are. He is never one to upsell a novice bike owner/rider. He is very willing to answer questions. We recently purchased an OCE trike from him and he even mounted some of the accessories for me in the store before driving home. He is great about putting someone through the paces and gears while riding to make sure the fit is good, petal length is good, and overall set up is good. I can’t say enough good things about him!”

“So I have never been here and I found there website a little confusing to be able and go pick up my order but I’ll tell you what when I decided to go in and pick up my order I was more than surprised by what I found. The store was amazingly clean and the staff were up beat customer focused but not overwhelming or annoying! Definitely impressed I may have found a new shopping destination”

“I got a flat tire on A1A in Pompano where they are doing construction not far from the bridge. I was late for 2 back to back meetings and so I could not go to Fort Lauderdale. I turned around and went to Bike Science. The owner, Jamie Collazo, was wrapping up things with one client, and was able to fix imy flat quickly ! He gave me the number for his roadside assistance on A1A - they travel 12 miles each way. Thrilled to have back up with all of the construction going on now. Superior customer service! The store had wonderful merchandise as well. Excellent experience !”

“I see a lot of bad reviews about Jenson USA. I'm not sure why. I have dropped quite a bit of money with them over the last 20+ years and never once had any issues, but then I never needed to send anything back either. In my experience, Jenson USA rocks! 5 stars from Oregon.”

“Used them for a mountain bike rental and the shop owner Bud was awesome! Went way out of his way to make sure I had a good experience. Even went as far as riding with me from the shop to the trailhead to make sure I didn’t get lost. Great bike too! Will definitely be using them again”

“Great place to get your mountain bike maintained. Had a new Shimano derailleur and chain installed. Also had my gears and brakes adjusted. I bought my bike for $300 at Walmart, but with the new parts and adjustments the bike feels upwards $500.”
