“One of my favorite parks. Sure, not a 5 star but consistently a cool little place to go. Not very big but has a great feel. It’s like two different little forests right next to each other. Each has a very different feel. The western part has such unique character. Kind of Tolkien-y. I expect gnome to pop out of the ground at any time. If you live in the area definitely worth checking out.”

“My husband booked the "triple threat" for me and my family for my birthday and it was truly an exceptional once-in-a-life-time experience! Adam is an extremely knowledgeable falconer and guide. It was awesome to see him handle the magnificent birds with such finesse. Holding the owl was surreal! What a beautiful and gentle encounter. Then came time for the hawks to show their stuff. Having them land on my arm was such an exhilarating thrill as one who has always loved birds. I cannot recommend Hawks on Hand enough! Thank you so very much, Adam! I hope to make their (and your) acquaintance again in the future.”

“I'm not a fan of hiking but Hillman has a Wetland Trail which is easy to walk and passes several nice ponds (see one pond in attached picture). If hiking's your thing, there's 18 other trails running a total of 34 miles. The other feature of the park is for a specific hobby of radio-controlled aircraft flying. Participants must meet strict rules to fly. Also check out the covered bridge at the park's Kramer Road end. “It's ok. Big field to run and play, fly kites and play sports. Playground is pretty minimal on equipment, and it has sand as the base. It is a dog park, sometimes owners don't clean up after their pets unfortunately.”

“This isn't a dog park first of all let's get this clear I go walking and take my dog there every morning, I don't drive so it easy for Marvel and I. My dog NEVER did number 2 but if he ever did I and a few others clean up after our dogs, however some of you give us a bad name so let's get this out the way ... CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG ... Now back to it .. clean and wonderful sporting Rec for the kids a place to walk around and lose some inches.. The guys who keep the area clean knows me so well that I always ask on their well being or how their day is going when ever I ran into them ... I just love this park.”

“We stayed in one of the small cabins with our two toddlers for an event and we had a great experience. The cabin was cozy and it was great to have a mini fridge and private bath with our little ones. The bed and pillows were also really comfortable. The grounds were great and had plenty of room for a variety of outdoor and indoor events going on at the same time. The owner was really great and we enjoyed the on site pizza place. We are looking forward to coming back again and checking out some more of their events.”

“I love the local Greenways, and this particular stretch is great. From Khols to the Dam has great hills, scenic bridges, and riverfront views. Great for walking, jogging, dogs (dog park next to the dam). Biking is ruff with the hills (great for serious cyclists). Always pass on the left and call out "on your left." The YMCA trail is a fun scenic off shoot and leads to a historic cemetery.”
